Great product, 1 problem....
If you are replacing a tele pickguard that the neck pup is mounted/screwed under the guard to the body and this looks like the guard you want? The guard in the photo is not for you....the online photo will be delivered with holes. Great product but I had to do some riggin to get it to look great..
Great Fender Tele pickguard
I have had a Fender Classic Series 50s Telecaster since it was new in 2001, but being an acoustic player, I pretty much left it alone... until recently.
Changing the pickguard from white to black totally changed the look, and helped me see that guitar in a new light.
The pickguard was perfect for the guitar, and I am really enjoying that Tele now.
A Perfect Fit
I was having a hard time finding a black guard for my 52 Fender Custom Shop Tele. With the assistance of my Sweetwater Tech Jeremy Aiello, he was able to find the right black guard. When I received it, it was a perfect fit. Thank you Jeremy for your assistance with getting me the correct part.
Black Faced Tele
I have a blue sparkle Fener Tele that had a mirror pickguard and I wanted to swap it out for a black Tele pickguard. This pickguard fit perfectly and has changed the look of my favorite Tele for the better. Hard to believe something so simple as a pickguard swap can make such an incredible improvement to the looks of a guitar. Thanks Sweetwater for having the right pickguard available. I was having difficulty finding a black 5 hole pickguard with no holes in the neck pickup slot.
Exactly what I needed
To upgrade my Player Series Tele into a 50's Tribute. Swapped the original pickguard along with American Fender pickups, tuners, string guide and bridge (all purchased from Sweetwater and my awesome gear engineer Drake) turning this guitar into a real head turner.
A bit thin…
Nice composition, but really should be .09"and this is thinner than that - probably closer to .06 standard for single ply guards. Definitely not as hefty feeling as the original Bakelite pickguard on my Tele.

Fits my 50's Baja tele perfectly. Looks quite a bit better than the stock shiny plastic pickguard.
Real Deal - Bakelite Pickguard
Not much to be said, except it's perfectly as expected. Much nicer than the stock pickguard on MIM guitars, flat as a board. Smooth and static free!
