Upon ordering this I didnt fully understand what isolated power supply was. I thought this would be a rechargeable pedal power battery pack. I velcroed it to the underside of my Pedaltrain Nano Pedalboard. By connecting our pedals to this,they no longer make hissing and whistling sounds. It makes your connected silent. This proved to be what my signal chain was missing, I needed to figure this out for myself because TV and magazines don't much advertise these

The only down side to this pedal is that it has a USB in place of a pedal output… I would have liked to see 7 outputs and one USB but it does the job! Very sleek and can easily be hidden and tucked right under the pedal board..
