Exelente instrumento. Muy bien por el precio.

Fantastic guitar for an incredible price

By Chavo P. from OHIA on November 24, 2021

Bought this guitar for my son as he wanted an acoustic. Really surprised by the quality of this inexpensive guitar. I've bought several others at this price point and none have sounded and played anywhere close to this Ibanez. Setup and string height was perfect right out of the box. Amazed by the full, deep sound. Tuner and onboard electronics work great when plugged into an amp. I highly recommend this guitar for any new players, don't buy a crappy guitar that is also not properly set up. Frustration with keeping in tune and neck action will result in abandoning your guitar. Get this one! I'll be getting one for myself now.

More than 20 years of great sound

By Rick Holly from New Jersey on April 24, 2019 Music Background: Part time pro

I have owned my Ibanez PF10ENT for more than 20 years. It was a guitar I bought to use live in weekly gigs (often multi week gigs) rotating it with my electrics. I didn't want to take out my prized 1969 Guild D44 which had already suffered lots of damage from road gigs years ago. The Ibanez has played hundreds of gigs over the past 20 + years and it's still my #1 choice for a live acoustic. It's got a nice big sound. I did file down the bridge saddle to lower the action but other than that it's still stock and still available at a great price.

Awesome!!!

Ibanez PF15ECE

By Bill L, from Georgia on July 16, 2018

I am a beginner with the acoustic and electric guitar, having only been playing approximately a year. Two of my friends own this identical model. I had the opportunity to play one of theirs and I was blown away. I could not believe I was able to get an Ibanez of this quality... I would put this guitar up against one priced at four times... Thank You Sweetwater!

Ibenez PF15ECE-Nat guitar

This is a vary good value for the money. It has good reviews all over the web, and I could only find one negative review on this guitar. My salesman Jon Gilipsie suggested this model for me as Iam a beginner at this, and would more than likely give up trying to learn if this was a poopy guitar. It is easy to play and sounds good unlike most cheap guitars. Jon gave me a fantastic deal as always, vary happy. Buy this guitar! Ron P

Great guitar for the price

By Michael K from Chester NJ on February 4, 2018

Always played electric guitars and figured it was time to learn some of the great acoustic songs out there. This was a great choice ... Electric, built in tuner and all around great sounding guitar without breaking the bank. Would definitely recommend.

Best bang for the buck!

By Sweetwater Customer on June 2, 2016

I've been playing for almost 40 years (mainly electric) and wanted to finally have an acoustic guitar (with a pickup) without spending a lot of money. This one was a VERY good decision...it sounds good, plays good, stays in tune good and has a built in tuner. I'm VERY happy!

Best Bang For The Buck Acoustic (electric) Ever

By Chris Matthews from Ridgecrest, CA on October 15, 2021 Music Background: Movie soundtrack producer, pro home recording, former live musician planning a return to the fray

I've only had this one a short time and I'm already in love with it. I've bought cheap acoustics over the years to save the big bucks for electric guitars, amps, studio stuff, etc., so I've run the range of cheapo acoustics. This one is the best. My last acoustic/electric was by a bargain brand I won't name (but it starts with a "R" and ends with 'e' and is only five letters long)was nearly the same cost as this Ibanez, but the action was too high and not adjustable, the electronics came apart in a month, the sound didn't project well without it running through an amp. Acoustic-Electrics should do double duty well. None of my others did though. Well, I guess "you get what you pay for", right? In this case...wrong. The Ibanez is MORE than what I paid for. It sounds crisp and bold, has terrific height/action and it's much prettier in person than the photo can portray. I can do lead runs on it far better than my old beaters, and would say it rivals some more expensive models for playability. Build is very solid. The added tuner is unique in that it has the actual notes in the scale as individual LEDs rather than only being "in the range" until the light turns on. This is great for alternate tunings with quick changes on stage. I would've paid $400 - 500 for this, but don't tell Ibanez. Keep a bargain a secret.
I'm saving up for a Martin, but meantime, this is great.

Love this Guitar

By Scott S from NC on October 27, 2018 Music Background: been playing a couple of years (still a newbie)

For the Money this is a really great guitar. I know some people think that a cheaper Chinese made guitar isn't any good, but I have been very impressed with my Ibanez. It has a big rich tone and stays in tune better than my strat. The size took a bit to get used too since I was not used to a full size acoustic, but now I love playing it. This guitar is well worth checking out if your interested in a nice affordable acoustic.

As always Sweetwater customer service rocks and I hope it never changes. I have to give a shout out to Kurt Cripe he is great to work with. Thanks Sweetwater and Ibanez.

Great value! Even better tone!!

By A Thomas from NC on February 14, 2017 Music Background: TV / Film composer & Lifelong musician

I hadn't had an acoustic guitar in some years, so I did some comparison shopping and realized what a great deal this was. It had everything I was looking for in an acoustic/electric, preamp w onboard tuner. I am absolutely in love with the great tone from this guitar. So why the 4.5 instead of 5 stars? The preamp has a two band instead of three band equalizer, but that is only nitpicking on my part. Buy this guitar!

Changed my mind

By Chris Matthews from Ridgecrest, CA on December 29, 2023

Ignore my previous review. Seems the quality of this Ibanez has changed. My first one years ago was flawless, but I got generous and gave it to a friend who had his guitar crushed. I ordered a second one, thinking it would be the same. Nope. Had nothing but fret buzz with it in various spots. There's no adjustment rod.

I can't play open mic nights anymore because it's such an embarrassment on solos.
I'm switching to Yamaha.
