Absolutely horrible
I recently purchased this pedal thinking it was a great deal given the fact it's a direct drive pedal. I received the pedal and used it for a session and one of the screws got loose and had the piece that holds the mallet was sliding. I used an allen wrench and tightened it. The next day I had band practice. during rehearsal a whole another part got loose and a screw busted while I was playing and now I personally feel I wasted almost $ just to revert back to my old pedals that have held up for over a decade. Stay far away from this product and this is coming from a drummer that has been playing for over 20 years. You're better off buying Tama speed cobras.
Good Pedals But Not The Best
These pedals were my first with a direct drive, up until then I was using a double chain, and I love direct drive because of these pedals. However, I've been fighting some issue with them for a few months.
After to long the board on the right side pedal will loosen and start to come off, even if I crank it down tight. Along with that, there is a strange kind of, I guess popping? You can feel it in the pedal. I've changed the spring, took it apart and oiled every component, and can't seem to get it as smooth as it was fresh out of the box.
Aside from these issues, they are an amazing double pedal, especially if you're just started to experiment with direct drive or double bass in general. My experience does not mean it will be yours!

This is the 1st direct drive double pedal I've owned. I now realized for my personal taste, I much more prefer this over a chain driven one. Just my personal preference. I love this pedal. And it was a lot less expensive than it's DW equivalent which was going to be my 1st choice.

Excellent pedal
Ridiculously smooth and deceptively powerful, still getting used to it but it's definitely a move up for me on my working gigs. I would advise putting loctite on main screws but no complaints

Solidly built. Great reaction great pedal for price. Out touring with 2 bands so I bought a 2nd pair one for each kit well worth the money. Used these to replace my Gibraltar chain drives after playing direct drive I ainr ever going back to chain drives worlds of difference in speed and consistency.
