6-string Acoustic Guitar with Spruce Top, Rosewood Back and Sides, Okoume Neck, and Rosewood Fingerboard - Natural

Marking the second iteration of Eastman Guitars' esteemed PCH Orchestra model, the PCH2-OM employs a rich mixture of prized tonewoods, top-shelf Eastman fixtures, and comfortable handling to supply both beginning musicians and experienced guitarists with formidable acoustic performance. Sitka spruce and rosewood supply rich, supple tone, further expanded by the instrument's comfortable and projective Orchestra Model body shape. Likewise, natural handling via a satin-finished okoume neck and a supple rosewood fingerboard is exceptionally comfortable to play and ensures accurate fretting, thanks to sightly pearl dot fingerboard inlays and white dot fingerboard side markers. Whether you're looking for a suitable Orchestra model to kick off your music career or a handy sidekick for on-the-road practice sessions, the PCH2-OM is sure to fit the bill.

perfect affordable OM

By Gary F. from Mission, KS

This guitar stays in tune unlike more expensive guitars I've owned previously. Always a good sign. It has a beautiful tone. And good sustain. The black top gives me some perspective issues vs a plain top. I am a senior and I'm more vulnerable to that. It's very handsome. Sweetwater has great customer service. I've always wanted an Eastman guitar. Wonderful instruments.

great for what it is

By Hal M. from USA
Music Background: passionate amateur

The Eastman PXH OM2 Blacktop is a beautiful, inexpensive guitar. I bought this for an outside, firepit guitar. I have some very nice guitars but needed something to use outside and/or harsh environments. I also wanted some specific things like 1-3/4" Nut Width. This guitar fit the bill. The sound is boxy (typical of laminate guitars), but not bad. Fit and finish is great for this price range. It sounds better with a pick vs fingerstyle. As always my sales engineer Will, was phenomenal to work with.

Nice OM guitar!

By Tim P. from Dublin, Va.
Music Background: Casual enthusiast.

Was looking for an imported budget box that sounded better than the price point indicated. Was ultimately swayed to make the purchase based on the visual beauty of it. The rosewood laminated back and sides are really nice, and the black gloss top with mop(?) rosette is frankly stunning in it's simplicity. The workmanship is near-perfect.

Sonically, it gives up it's tones nicely, offering up big sounds even with light strumming. Action is great (after some tweaking to accommodate personal preferences). It's a lively instrument! I look forward to seeing how the top ages as I play it. Neck profile feels good, satin finish on neck, back and sides looks great. Includes a good gigbag. Well worth the price! And it's thankfully lightweight. Sales tech is Patrick Dennis, all-around swell guy!
