Jackson Pro Series Signature Christian Andreu Rhoads RRT Electric Guitar - Natural with Black Bevels Reviews

Solidbody Electric Guitar with Poplar Body, Maple Top, Maple Neck, Ebony Fingerboard, and 1 Humbucking Pickup - Natural

Gojira’s Christian Andreu is well-known for his affinity for Jackson Rhoads solidbody electric guitars, and the Jackson Pro Series Signature Christian Andreu Rhoads RRT was tailored especially for him. This axe is ideal for Gojira’s brutal brand of death metal, thanks to its covered high-output humbucker, while its graphite-reinforced maple neck-though design with string-through-body tailpiece provides exceptional sustain. Beyond that, a compound-radius fretboard ensures the fleet-fingered playability technical guitarists demand. The Signature Christian Andreu Rhoads RRT boasts Jackson’s classic offset V-shaped body, along with a head-turning flame maple top and a matching headstock. A blacked-out (as in, sans inlays) fingerboard and black hardware complete the Pro Series Signature Christian Andreu Rhoads RRT’s metal-ready aesthetic.

Just The Way I Like It.....

By Kevin R. from GRAND RAPIDS, MI
Music Background: local bands and home recording metal/rock/hardcore punk

With one hot bridge humbucker and one volume knob and locking tuners on a reverse headstock....plus all black hardware....

I could swear that it was made for me. The neck-thru-body construction is a major bonus. I like everything about it.

It's comfortable to play and sound's good. It might be a little neck-heavy, but since I use a leather strap with suede backing, it is not a problem for me. I already have the top-of-the-line Jackson RR 6/7 molded hardshell case with the TSA lock. It fits this guitar like a glove.

Poorly made Chinese guitar.

By Landon B. from LAYTON, UT
Music Background: Been an avid player and collector of guitars for 30 years.

First and foremost I'd just like to comment on how expensive this guitar is vs other similar models made in Indonesia. The tuning stability of this guitar is awful. The tuners are cheaply made garbage with Jacksons name printed on the back of them. I restrung my guitar to see if maybe it was the factory strings that were causing the problem but it still persists. The hardware and bridge are all the same cheaply made crap as just like them tuners. I've had this guitar 2 weeks and the jack has already gone out after playing it roughly 10 or 12 hours over the course of those 2 weeks. It's pretty irritating that there's no country of origin listed anywhere in the specs cause I would have passed right away had I seen that this thing was built in China. I was very surprised by this when I unbound the guitar and seen China stamped on the back of the headstock. Why in the world would any company ever create a signature model and have it manufactured in a country know for producing cheap and shoddy products I'll never know. It just makes me curious if Andrue from Gojira himself knows that his name is slapped on what is most likely a trash version of the one he actually owns and plays? I for one wouldn't be very pleased and would most likely cut ties with said company unless the issue was rectified. Point made, this guitar should be in the $300 range and is ABSOLUTELY not worth the price tag attached to it. Do yourself a favor and skip over this specific guitar if you're looking to buy a Jackson Guitar. They have way better guitars at a better price point that don't fall apart in a sense after 2 weeks of play. Shame on Jackson...............never thought I'd say it but ya, these guys are ripping folks off with this crop.

A true jewel for its price!

By Tiffany T. from United States
Music Background: ...been amateurly playing on and off for IDK 40'ish years.

A unique gem. Its action hight, perfect. Intonation, perfect. Neck playability and feel, perfect. Its pickup, pretty good. Its look, great. Its note sustain, truly incredible!

Its only downsides are its neck heavy, its amp cord falls out easily, but most importantly it's strings must be muted both on it's head and before its body pull through our they add unwelcome notes. String mute wraps work fine and look okay.

It's neck is one piece with it's body. this is a true treasure. I hope it proves durable. Its Jackson neck I have been yearning for ever since I sold the Jackson I grew up playing, fits my hand perfectly.

So happy!
