I love this thing! It's my first Bass guitar I've ever owned and I have learned so fast. It's really comfortable and easy to play. I highly suggest this bundle.

The Bass came with slight wiring problems, however, Sweetwater's customer service was excellent and I currently have a bass with new pickups and rewiring due to their warranty.

This is the first bass I decided to buy about a month ago, had it for 3 weeks (they work fast here considering the free shipping). I will say that I don't have much experience holding too many kinds of basses, but of the ones I have, this is solid. Gorgeous, comfortable contours, the neck is super smooth so shifting is a breeze, and it's really cool to be able to mess with Precision and Jazz pickup blending as someone trying to learn everything I can about tone development. That's just the bass itself which to be fair I think is $ less on Sweetwater.

As a bundle, if this is your first bass or maybe you're away from home for awhile and miss your groove vibration fix, you can't go wrong. I haven't used the gig bag yet, but's nice and sturdy enough. The biggest thing as a beginner I wanted to emphasize is the Fender Rumble 15. My sales person advised me to invest in a 40 or something in that range instead of the 15, and rightfully so. The 15 isn't gonna hold up with the other noise on stage. But you don't need that right now. You need an amp for home use that's plenty loud enough, has an aux and headphone jack, and is good enough that you'll be able to hear your playing until you decide to invest in the speaker that you know what you want out of.

This is a really great starter bass in a package that will have you playing today. The bass has a pretty good sound and I use it in our church band. The amp is good for practice but it won't hold up in a performance with others. It has all the accessories to plug and play, but you will want a case if you're going to travel with it. I did have to make some adjustments for string height and intonation, but now it has a good sound and has been a great learner.

The gig bag is a decent addition to have travel capability, but it doesn't have much storage space. I usually take an iPad, some song printouts, tuner, cable (and backup cable) and I cant zip the pocket with the bass inside it. if you fill up the pocket first, the bass won't fit all the way down in the bag so you can't zip it up top. I would also recommend a stand, because if it's put away you won't play it!!!

I've had this less than a year, but I'm already ready to upgrade. I am an adult and actually have others to play with so a better instrument is in my budget and on my wishlist. If your budget didn't allow, if this is something you just want to try out, or if you just want to jam solo, this is the bass package for you. Since the bass I WANT is out of stock, I have no problem using this in the meantime performing in front of 120 people.

It's a really good bass for beginners, I realize I have a lot to learn lol. Comes with a gift card to learn how to play, and really everything you'll need to take care of it! I love this thing thank you sweetwater

This bass is everything a beginner needs. A little later on you can lower the action and make it sound and play even better! I started out with it and it definitely did more than enough to get me playing. Recommend this to every beginner!
