Fender Player Precision Bass - Sea Foam Green Pau Ferro Fingerboard Reviews
Looking for classic P Bass sound and style? Then pick up the Fender Player Series Precision Bass. It provides the quintessential P Bass experience — with the playability you'd expect from a modern instrument. Lay down the groove with classic fat tones, by way of an Alnico V split-coil pickup. Experience a great fast feel, thanks to a Modern "C" neck profile and contemporary 9.5" fingerboard radius. You also get a synthetic bone nut, 4-saddle standard bridge, and Fender standard open-gear tuners. Authentic Fender tone with a modern edge — what more could a bass player ask for?

Incredible!
Let me begin by saying I own lots of guitars and basses. I especially love the Fender line of instruments and have been playing Fender Precision Basses since 1974. After decades in the music business and over twenty(+) years of non-stop touring in my younger years, I am not easily impressed with a new P-bass (MIM). Having said that, the two new color variations of the 2023 Fender Player Precision Bass series are phenomenal!
I wasn't sure what to expect when the Sea Foam Green Pau Ferro Fingerboard arrived. You're probably aware of the issues or problems associated with authentic rosewood fretboards and the subsequent search for a more permanent replacement. If so, you can rest assured that the Pau Ferro fingerboards are the perfect solution. The first thing that stands out about this bass is the overall cosmetic appeal of the paint scheme. No photo can fully capture the essence of this beauty! If it had a red tortoise pickguard, I would be in heaven. Having said that, this one looks just fine with this color. The second thing one notices is how smoothly the neck plays. The technicians at SW set this one up. All I had to do was acclimate it to the room and tune it up. It's literally the best bass for under $1200 I own.
