This is my first bass and I've been playing for a while now and I love it. I've learned so much over the year since I have gotten it and most Definitely a good buy for anyone looking for a P Bass. While there are cheaper alternatives I had to go with Fender and I don't regret it.
Worth the money!

Love this Player!
I've always been a fan of white Fender Basses, since I was about 16 years old. I'm now 74 and still love the looks of them. I had already purchased a white Jazz Bass that I use on gigs quite a bit, and thought I'd like a Precision to go along with it. I did change the pick guard to a tortoise one because I just think it looks classier. But the newer necks on the player series are very comfortable, and it plays like a dream. And Sweetwater's customer service was, as usual, excellent. Thanks, guys!
Great buy!
Taught myself to play drums originally, but decided I wanted to branch out and try to wrap my head around something with strings. This bass is wonderful for a beginner or a seasoned player. The range of sound is amazing (coupled with a Fender Rumble 100), and the look and feel are awesome, too.
IMPRESSIVE!
I am really happy with this bass. I have a USA 50's reissue P bass and this Player Series actually plays better. The neck is absolutely perfect and the satin finish on the back of neck feels like silk. I play through a 1980's Peavey TNT combo amp with a 15" speaker and I can't believe the sound. I might buy the Jazz model next.
