Pro Co PARKER15 Magnetic/Piezo Guitar Y-Cable - 15 foot Reviews
Do you have a dual-output guitar and need a cable that splits the signals? The ProCo Y Guitar Cable was designed to work with dual-output electric and acoustic guitars. This cable starts with a right-angle 1/4" TRS jack that terminates into two 1/4" TS jacks labeled Magnetic and Piezo. The TRS jack has 10' of cable and each tail is 5' long giving you plenty of length to attach to amps and mixers. If you have a dual-output guitar like a Parker electric, then you need the ProCo Y Guitar Cable!

GOOD TIGHT FIT. SPLITS THE SIGNALS SPOT ON!
I mean, what are you going to do?
Yea, this cable is expensive, but if you're going to play a Parker, you're gonna need it.
It's a great cable. I had one for 4 years that I gigged with 2-3 times a week, and it finally broke somewhere in the middle of the wire of one of the cables. So it's replacement time. See you in another 4 years!
The one problem I have was, the divided cable failed within the first year. If it's under your feet and you're occasionally stepping on it, the lead will separate and you'll end up with two leads. I had to tape it together soon after it was new. A single cable with 4 wires in it would be so much better, but this cable is still good, and works.
Stereo guitar cord
Quality wire
Great Esoteric Cable
I needed this to use a guitar that came with an on board OPEL. I works perfectly. I would have preferred having a larger separation from the ring and tip mono cables, but but cutting the tape and spread the cables this was fixed rather easily.
Perfect for my Musicman Artisan Majesy
Does the job of splitting a stereo out signal. I used in the studio and didn't notice any unwanted noise. Feels very heavy duty and I'm sure I'll get a lot of use from this cable.
A GREAT Cable
I have a Parker 1998 Nightfly M that was made when Ken Parker owned the company and they were still making Incredible guitars. It has a Fishman Peizo built into the bridge and still sounds Amazing. (this is long before Ken sold the company to Washburn and they shipped everything to Indonesia. Back in 98 an 99 Ken was putting out innovative, lightweight AMAZING Guitar with Demarzio Stinger Humbucking pickups with coil tapping and incredible acoustics just flow from this guitar. A one piece Slid Mahogany body and a Mahogany neck covered in Fiberglass with Locking Sperzel Tuners, Graphite Nut Ebony Fretboard with Stainless Steel Frets and Incredible sound but the cable although it's in great shape is still 16 years old and I asked my sales Rep Luke Herrin and his Asst Morgan to keep an eye out for me if they found a cable with a magnetic and Peizo split for my guitar. Sure enough 3 weeks later I get a call from Luke and my 16 year old cable gets replaced by a quality name new cable and I couldn't be happier. It is GREAT to have a sales rep who not only remembers you but remembers what you need and Luke is by far the best. Now my beautiful closet classic has a new cable to replace the 16 year old one and I could not be happier. If your going to do business with Sweetwater I can't recommend Luke for a Salesman highly enough. He stays in touch and if you tell him your looking for something he's going to find it for you. I couldn't be happier to have such a great salesman. Always gives me an honest opinion to help me make the best decisions and has NEVER steered me wrong. Thanks Luke for another great job done by the best salesman in the store!!! Steve
Pro Cable
I have been a fan of Pro Co cables since I was a teenager and that has been many many years. I also have used the Parker Y-version of these cables for quite a while as well. I have a Parker Fly classic from Ken Parker, and I also have the Parker P 36 and my Dragon Fly. I have 2 of the Pro Co Y cables for each of my Parkers and they have worked like a champ and I have been tough on them. I also use Pro co cables on many of my axes and mics etc. Since the 1970s they have been the trusted cables of the musicians that I have worked with. I'm a working pro guitarist and I need gear that I can trust and that has been Pro Co.
Looks nice but stopped working
I run my Music Man and a Parker guitars in stereo with the piezo going to the PA board and the magnetic going to my guitar amp. Unfortunately, these two devices are never right next to each other in live planing situations, so I pulled the cable apart a little at the mono ends. I saw no damage from this, but the cable's ring side stopped working after just a couple weeks. I cannot see any damage to the cable, or any of the plugs, but it just doesn't work any longer. Oh well.
No Bueno.
This cable was very poorly soldered resulting in an epic fail on - stage.
