Great 35” Scale 5-String Bass
I played a 35 inch scale five string bass for several years. The bass was great, but it had a mahogany body, and I was not a fan of that tone for a bass.
When I sold it I did not find a suitable replacement for several years. I periodically looked on Sweetwater site to see if anything new would come up, and finally this bass came up. When the bass came in, it was such a relief to have the 35 inch playability back in my hands!! The bass came with the strings through the body, and I found it to be a little stiff which reminded me of the other thing I didn't like about my old bass. Luckily this bass gives you both options. I just changed to the optional strings through the bridge and achieved exactly what I was looking for! The strings through the bridge gives it a more authentic Fender buttery P-bass feel when playing. Overall very satisfied. Also, It came setup perfectly. Thanks Sweetwater!
Great Bass!
This just a Fabolous bass. Light weight killer b. Great neck great with balance of thickness and width. Powerful pickups. Great looks. It plays fantastic. Unfortunately the app wouldn't allow me to upload my photo.
