PSM300 works Great
I received the PSM300 just over a week ago and I have used it on stage twice now. Works perfectly. The scan and sync feature is a breeze to use and I have had zero issues. I did however purchase different buds. As always Sweetwater is a great company to work with.
Workhorse Unit
I've been using this IEM for about three years and it doesn't miss a beat. It has solid range, even with the small antenna. I run it with rechargeable AA batteries -- they typically will go two full 60 minute sets comfortably without need of replacement. I always change between sets to be on the safe side, but I've always had reserve (that I use at the next rehearsal).
Signal is strong, scanning is good, frequency bleed is non-existent. I bought Westone ears for this -- not a big fan of the included Shure model, but they work great as backups. I recommend this model for most gigging experiences.
Works great!
Got what I paid for and it works great.
Should have done this a long time ago
I love this system. It is so easy to use and more importantly I can hear so much better and my ears don't ring the day after a gig due to high stage volume. Was shocked at how good the bass sounds in the ear buds (when properly seated tight). . Only 2 minor quibbles : first, the ear buds are sometimes tough to keep in... They seem to work loose as I sing - if I get them in so tight that they kinda hurt, they seem to stay better (I'm using the smallest set of fittings in the kit).... The other is that the gain controls for the channels are on the back of the unit. (doesn't do much good rack mounted - becomes a one time setting) . Our lead singer has the older version of this system that has front mounted gains... . That said, I set it once and can make mix adjustments between the auxiliary send from mixer (for rest of band) and receiver volume (my Mike is direct feed using insert port on mixer)... . But it works. I love this system and am finally hitting solid pitch control on my harmonies for the first time ever. Though these systems are pricey, I wish I would have done this years ago...
