So much better to go wireless! Works fantastic, clear and loud. Just like the doctor ordered!
Forget Shure, buy the Sennheiser
Used the Shure for 2 months. Signal issues, if you slip it in your pocket and move around the volume knob, no notches, gets moved around, batteries barely last 2 shows. Do yourself a favor and spend a couple hundred more and buy the Sennheiser G4 A1, Day & Night. Addresses all those issues. We also dumped the SM58's and bought the Sennheiser e935 again Day & Night! Shure has taken a dive, be aware.
Body pack issues
Unit looks great but the hardware is junk.. body pack doesn't stay on even with brand new batteries.. on/off button possibly faulty.. don't waste your money.. especially at this price
Constant dropouts
Don't waste your money. I experience frequent dropouts. I do all of the frequency scans before each gig but it only helps so much. I haven't been disappointed in a product so badly in quite a while. Trying to save for something else and ditch this as soon as I can afford it.
