Black Dynamo for Sure!
Definitely increased the power and depth of my bass drum. Helps bass drum to cut through everything and shakes the studio now! Only play Remo heads, best in the drum world!

Music background: Drummer for 30 years.
Drummer loves it
I am the sound guy and picked up for the drummer. He's an ex Coasters, Drifters guy and other upper end stuff from the day. Anyway he got all excited and talks about the head all the time. I'm not a drummer, he is and he says it's great. Loves it. He said the thicker material makes the difference. Not completely dead kick, but tight with punch. From my perspective it made my job easier.

An amazing Reso Head for an even better price!!
I've been playing for over 30 years now. I've tried all kinds of heads, combinations and brands. And without a doubt the Powerstroke 3's have given me the exact sound I'd been searching for. I've got them on a set of SPL Unity II 22" bass drums paired with the Powerstroke 3 Clear Batter Head with Black Dot. And Evans EQ Pad Bass Drum Mufflers. Unquestionably the best sound I've ever had. Tremendous attack with ideal punch!!! They literally sound like a pair of cannons!!!
