The hidden gem of a good snare sound
A lot of drummers neglect the fact that good snare wires is AS an important upgrade as replacing stock heads. It may seem silly, but things like coil consistency, material and perfectly machine-even spacing between wires can make an okay snare sound into a killer snare sound. This upgrade is a must and puresound does it hands down the best.

It works like it's supposed to.
I'm using it on my 5x14 steel gretsch which snares broke.
It's a little more snappy since this has a few more wires than the stock snare did.
Doesn't come with straps or strings for installation , so re-use whatever you got.
You would think for that much money, it would come with that stuff.
Wonderful Product
I never knew how much I needed these until I got them. I've had the stock wires on my Yamaha Rock Tour snare for quite some time with no complaints, but just thought it was time for a change. And these snare wires were such a step up from those; they give all the attack and snap one would want out of their snare, and don't overstay their welcome. They also have very little cross-talk with the toms and kick of my kit, so there's another plus. All around great set of snare wires that I'd recommend to anyone looking.
