An Amazing All-purpose Digital Piano

Built around the sound of the world-famous CFIIIS concert grand piano, the clear and melodic sound of the Yamaha P-115 digital piano is instantly recognizable to any seasoned pianist. Your fingers will also feel at home on the P-115's Graded Hammer Standard keybed, which emulates the dynamic feel of hammers on real acoustic piano strings. A full set of fun performance options and a dedicated controller app provide tons of flexibility onstage, at home, or in the studio, and thanks to its upgraded damper resonance and reverb, you'll be hard pressed to find an affordable digital piano that outperforms the P-115.

The sound and feel of a real concert grand piano anywhere you need it

From the first time your fingers tickle the ivories on the P-115, you'll know why Yamaha digital pianos are known far and wide for having some of the best-feeling keys on the market. That's because the P-115 sports Yamaha's Graded Hammer Standard keybed. This fully weighted keybed provides you with light response in the upper register and progressively heavier action the lower you play - just like the keys of an acoustic piano. But great feel isn't enough. That's why Yamaha loaded the P-115 with their Pure CF sound engine, which perfectly re-creates the sound of their famous CFIIIS concert grand piano. And since you can comfortably pack the P-115 into the back of a typical sedan, you can take this amazing combination of sound and feel anywhere.

Fuel your creativity with fun and inspiring performance options

As you dive into the P-115's performance options, you'll discover that there's quite a lot more to this digital grand piano than you'd expect just by looking at it. If you're looking for a fun way to practice your rhythm, without dusting off the old metronome, then you'll be thrilled by the collection of 14 grade-A drum grooves onboard. Fire up one of the P-115's 10 Pianist styles and play along with a virtual duet partner - a great way for experimenting with song ideas or adding an extra element to your live performances. And when you top it off with 14 voices, brilliantly simple splits and layers, and more than enough polyphony to handle it all, there's no denying the kind of value you'll receive with a Yamaha P-115 digital piano.

Top-notch sound system with Intelligent Acoustic Control onboard

Carting around a set of speakers or headphones isn't such a big deal when you're playing live, but who wants to deal with all of that extra clutter at home when you just want to sit down and play? Yamaha gets how important both portability and convenience are, which is why they integrated a full stereo sound system into the P-115 digital piano. This deceptively potent 14-watt stereo system features a pair of 2-way loudspeakers to accurately give you both the clear and glassy highs and deeply resonant bass you can feel in your chest. What's more, the P-115 comes equipped with Yamaha's Intelligent Acoustic Control, allowing the P-115's EQ to continuously adapt to your volume settings, providing you with excellent tone you don't have to babysit.

My New Yamaha P-115

I absolutely love it. The onboard amp and speakers sound great and it really takes off through my PA. I thought the graded weighted keys would be hard at first but I was wrong, it just feels natural and really helps with my playing. I also love the 3 pedal foot pedal that I ordered to go with it, especially the left one that speeds the leslie sound up, that's really great. Since it has USB, it is very easy to use with my DAW and midi when I want to go that way. It is really worth the money, which was low to start with. All in all it is a very good unit as far as quality and price and it fits my needs perfectly.

Yamaha P115

I have two piano's, a Young Chang 6' Grand and a Yamaha studio grand. I have the P115 primarily to be able to play at night when I am dealing with pain issues I use head phones so as to not cause my wife to lose sleep. When I play the P115 during the day without head phones my wife will come into the room just to see if I am what I am playing, the Young Chang or the P115. I really enjoy the great tone and sound of the P115. I was surprised to find myself lured away from my conventional piano's during the day!

Yamaha P115B

I recently purchased this keyboard, after having a Yamaha MOXF8 for about 3 months. I did not need all the bells and whistles on the MOXF8. I am a pro musician, had tons of keyboards the last 45 years. This one by far has the BEST piano, organ, strings, etc! I did not need 200 piano sounds. Only 3-4. Just what this offered. The feel is great, built rugged, beautiful keys. No screen, but I don't need it. The Grand pianos (2) sound BETTER than my $1700 MOXF8! My Sales Engineer, Justin made my purchase PERFECT from start to finish, as he did before. SWEETWATER IS GREAT!

26lb 9' Concert Grand!

The piano is awesome! Incredible concert grand piano sound. Fantastic piano feel, heavy at the low end, light at the top. This is just what the doctor ordered if your looking for a portable digital piano. Authentic harpsichord sound with key off noise for baroque lovers. I nice blend of voices. The speakers sound great! Smart panel lay-out, with many functions available by touching the keys, instead of cluttering up the panel with too many buttons. Excellent drum beats, and pianist styles. This piano could easily sell for much more. Thank you again Sweetwater for your incredible customer service!

Love my Yamaha P-115

I love this piano! (This, by the way, is the first time I've ever felt compelled to refer to an electronic keyboard as a "piano" rather than just a "keyboard" or "controller".) For years I've been using an old Kurzweil K2000 as a MIDI keyboard, and it largely functioned as an input device for Sibelius or MIDI tracks in Pro Tools. But, whenever I saw an actual acoustic piano, I was always drawn to sit down and play just for the joy of it. Now that I have this beautiful, weighted, 88-key instrument that switches on instantly with no boot time or sample-loading time, and plays a gorgeous sampled grand piano sound through it's own speakers, I've been sitting down to play regularly in my own studio – just for the joy of it. Oh yeah and I can still use it as a MIDI input device (via USB) when I need to enter notes into Sibelius or Pro Tools...

Sweetwater Advice

Adam Vaughn

I picked up a Yamaha P115 for my band for the weighted keys and great sounds, and we're extremely happy with it. It was an instant hit, pairing perfectly with an iPad and providing us with hundreds of sounds onstage, yet without taking up too much space in my car. Since then, I've used my P115 live, in rehearsals, and as my MIDI controller in my studio, and it's always served me well.
