Schecter Omen Extreme-6
LOVE this axe. Beautiful fit and finish. The slim neck fits my hand perfectly and feels like an extension of myself. It was a tossup between this one and the one with a Floyd Rose trem system. Since I already own two other guitars with Floyd Rose and SEVERAL Strats with standard trem systems this was the one. It has quickly become the4 guitar I reach for first to practice with. Now I'm searching for locking tuners in the same finish as the stock tuners.
Outstanding Value and Exeptional Quality
I just received my Tobacco Sunburst Omen Extreme 6 via FedEx, (Which BTW, arrived in perfect condition, BOY do they pack it RIGHT!) and I must say the pictures don't do it justice.
This is a BEAUTIFUL guitar, Light in weight and set up just right for my playing.I have had MANY guitars in my time, and after purchasing and still owning a Schecter C-1 Elite, I thought I would upgrade to this model and I am extremely pleased that I did. Don't let the affordable price fool you. I've been around Very expensive guitars that in no way outshine or out play this model. You can certainly PAY more for another brand of guitar but you won't get any more value or quality from it. Go ahead, Pull the trigger and Buy one of your color choice. You will not regret it!
Exceptional
I have several guitars that are more expensive than this one, but none that are nicer. Out of the box the intonation was correct and the action was nice and low with no buzzing. The frets feel great, and the pickups sound great. Fit and finish are virtually perfect. This is my new go-to guitar when I don't need a Floyd Rose.
Schecter Omen Extreme 6
I love this guitar. Packaging and shipping were excellent and customer service is top notch. My sales engineer, Dennis, called me before it shipped, since I was having it shipped to a different address from the billing address, to verify I indeed made the purchase. He also called me afterwards to make sure all was well. Very impressive.
I also purchased the Schecter SCR-1C hardshell case. It fit's in a Strat case but I wanted to keep my Strat in it.
Pickups are very HOT. Very responsive. Harmonics are super. I needed to adjust the gain on my pedal board to for the cleaner, country style stuff. I also took off the Ernie Ball strings and replaced them with Elixirs. My personal preference.
All in all, it looks, feels, and sounds great. Very happy with Sweetwater and with this purchase. I will definitely do more business with them.
Very nice guitar
I think for this price range you can't really get too much better than this. The neck is amazing feeling whenever I pick it up, and the sound is very versatile. The only reason why it isn't 5 stars is because on of the pots was a little iffy at first, but then when I replaced it, the guitar really sounded much better.
