Great bang for your buck guitar
There's a reason I keep buying Schecter guitars. I've had a Demon-6, an Omen-6, and now this Omen Elite-6 and this guitar blows both of those out of the water. The neck feels great, it's very comfortable to play in classical position, and is actually rather light compared to some of my other guitars. I have this guitar set up to Drop C with 10-52 NYXL strings, which is my preferred string gauge. Maybe a bit light for Drop C, but I've always liked a lighter string as I tend to bend a lot. I've also heavily modified this guitar at this point (changed the 5 way to a 3 way switch, installed locking tuners, swapped the pickups, and installed a push/pull pot on the tone knob), and it has only increased my love for this guitar. And on top of that, it's a gorgeous finish. My only real complaints is that it didn't ship with locking tuners, and I wasn't too crazy about the sound of the heretic humbuckers - but those are easily swapped out.
All in all, it's a really solid guitar - especially if you make some tweaks.
Omen 6 Elite
This is an impressive guitar. I have a Schecter C-1 E/A which I love playing. So I figured it was my new guitar day and I purchased the Omen 6 Elite Charcoal burl. This guitar is lite weight. It has aggressive pickups, Which I love! The back of this guitar is beautiful. The grain and wood color on the back of this guitar is outstanding. Playing this guitar is a pleasure. The neck is a satin finish and feels great. This is a great rock, metal, or clean playing machine. I am trying to figure out how an inexpensive guitar like this has so much Character and playability. The setup out of the box was dead on outstanding. If you want a guitar you can take to any jam session, this is it. Impressive to say the least.
Schecter and Ray
Ray Gonzalez really knows what he's doing when it comes to placing the right guitar in a customer's hands sight unseen. The amount of trust that developed over the time I was trying to figure out which guitar to buy has been incredible with Ray. Of course he was right and I love my schecter Omen elite 6. I wish I had more room to sing his praises!
Fire fire guitar
This guitar is amazing, i was on the fence between this and the Damien. They have the same features but the finish and inlays are different, the Damien has a satin painted neck and this has a satin feeling wood neck that is very quick. I tried it out this weekend after my other guitar died and for the price nothing beats it in looks, playability and quality. I highly recommend this guitar i am extremely happy to have ordered it with sweetwater!
Just awesome
As a guitar collector, Ive had so many guitars in my life now. This Schecter is absolutely amazing for the price point. I had planned to upgrade the pickups but the stock Heretics are METAL. Super chunky and high gain. Highly recommend \m/

Very Nice Guitar
The guitar was received in excellent condition. The neck feels great. Schecter necks are some of the best in my opinion. It is versatile and has very good tone either clean or dirty. It looks, feels, and sounds just like I hoped it would. Very fun to play.
A lot to like but...
I really like the look and feel of this guitar. I also got a good deal on it. Finish and most quality is perfect but there are a few things...
I have been playing this nearly a month and every time I play it my fingers are black. Not sure what they put on the fingerboard to make it dark but it comes off. (will probably see if I can clean it but I like it dark)
Like some other lower price Schecter guitars and basses I have the neck doesn't seem too stable. I currently have the truss rod cover off because I need to keep adjusting it. I may need to take this in for a setup to see if it's just me not getting this right.
The pickups are good but not great. Good enough that I may not swap them but time will tell.
Lightweight and fun to play!!
Amazing sounding guitar but…
Tbh I really love this guitar. It's my first guitar that I've purchased for myself and it CHUGS. Plays heavy licks like nobody's business. The only issue I had is that even though the finish is "charcoal", mine is much more brown than the stock photos show. I picked it specifically because of the gray and tan swirl design but was a bit disappointed to see it was really more of an amber/brown color. I hope they fix this for future customers.
