Beware, connectors are too large
The connector housings on these cables are too large to fit next to each other on certain port configurations where they are placed next to each other. This is the case for both the Ferrofish Pulse 16 and the RME Raydat. Horrible product and likely will waste your $.
It Works
Can't go wrong with these for the price.
Optical cables are obviously different than your usual audio cables and are a bit easier to manufacture and retain quality.
Grabbing something more expensive in this case is not necessarily going to translate to better performance.
Firewire cable
has worjked flawlessly since hookup between the Focusrite 56 and my !-7 pc computer. Just follow the directions for hookup in the right sequence and remember no severe bends aon the the fiber optic cable and no stress on the connectors and everthing should operate fine.
