Gibson Acoustic 50s LG-2 - Antique Natural Reviews
The Gibson '50s LG-2 delivers big sound in a comfortable performance package. The output of this "little giant" is akin to that of a J-45. Yet this mighty mini has the detail and intimacy you only get from a small-bodied guitar. The '50s LG-2's scalloped-braced Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides produce a rich, mellow sound with a snappy response. Acoustically, it delivers big dynamics and character. And plugged in, an onboard LR Baggs VTC pickup system lets you take that premier Gibson tone to the stage. If you're a folk guitarist or fingerstylist who's after a comfortable player for the stage and studio, the '50s LG-2 comes primed to please.

Gibson acoustic 50s LG2 - Antique Natural
I feel like this guitar was custom made for me. It's beautiful sounding & looking. The neck is perfect for my smallish hands. Phenomenal sound and stays in tune for a long time. It's a bold sound and after wondering what the mystique was about Gibson, well, now I know. It's truly elegant, no frills yet pure quality. I love it more each day and keep it close by. (The perfect tear drop pick guard and the cream outline on front and back, the matching tuners and even the 'simple' name on top with no other symbols or markings). Like I said, it feels like this was custom made for me. I absolutely LOVE it. Even after all these years of playing, I'm a soft player, but this guitar holds notes so amazingly ... very fun to play.
In case I did not already write a review, my new baby blonde Gibson guitar is amazing.
Love love love this guitar. I've owned Gibson's over the years and loved them all. This is my first Gibson acoustic. The smell alone is like catnip for me. Plays like a Gibson should. Just needed small acoustic to play endlessly during the pandemic. This more than fits the bill for me.
