I've been always a loyal user of D'Addario EXL 170-6 for my 6-string bass, I wanted to try this strings for so long and finally I have them. Great sound, great package, well crafted, even the D'Addario staff on instagram shared my strings change.
I would love to see this strings in other gauges (a .125 B someday). I recommend them, the best of D'Addario is that they aging well.

Clean, crisp tone - a "live" string. Only improvement for me would be to wrap the ends on the tuning machine like other strings do. It makes it easier for me to grab and wind.
