Yamaha NTX1 Nylon String Acoustic-Electric Guitar - Brown Sunburst Reviews
Electric and thinline players can have trouble adapting to the necks, nuts, and bodies, and actions of traditional nylon-string guitars. But the Yamaha NTX1 lineup seeks to rectify this awkward transition by blending mature plugged-in classical tones with precision comfort and playability for the stage. The NTX1’s slim nato wood body features a solid Sitka spruce top with an advanced undersaddle pickup system to supply satisfying plugged-in tone anywhere you play out — from the coffee shop to the club. The modern neck profile puts plenty of space between your palm and fingers to facilitate lead and chord work without cramping. You also get a slimmed-down 1-7/8" nut spacing for an easier transition between axes, along with a genuine walnut fingerboard with ultra-flat 23-5/8" radiusing to supply classic nylon-string phrasing and momentum.

Great guitar for beginners or experienced players
I bought this guitar several months ago and as a classical beginner, I'd say it's the best of both worlds. The neck is just the right size and not a stretch like my old classical was. It has a nice feel and the action is well setup from the factory.
Workmanship is what you would expect from Yamaha even though it's made in China.
The electronics sound amazing and the built-in tuner makes tuning a snap. Sweetwater gave me a great deal on this guitar and I'd say it's well worth the price.

Really good nylon at this price point! Sounds good with or without amp; good neck action; comfortable nut width.
Highly recommend, especially as a traveling guitar.
Great responsiveness and follow up from Nick at Sweetwater, too.
Great Guitar; My First Nylon! Yamaha Makes Great Stuff!
The Yamaha NTX 1 Nylon Guitar looks, sounds, and feels great! It's light as a feather and easy to play! The tone is uniquely awesome played with or without my amp (Vox VX 50) and the Nux Wireless Guitar system. The craftsmanship is of high quality and the ornamentation is brilliantly attractive. I'm very satisfied!
New to nylon
I have only played steel string guitars and my experience even at that is minimal. Have had this Yamaha for a couple of weeks and it's growing on me. It's easier to get use to the increased spacing but my 12 string has a similar wide neck. All said it's staying for some time and the tone is pretty good and is better when plugged in.
