Not Ideal
I was really hoping that the nord pedal will be as good as the nord products. i ve been playing nord since 2015. always using Yamaha pedals, onstage, or Nektar. i was surprised of other and cheaper brand pedals . not good quality. i still use it. but i prefer my yamaha pedal which i have had for 10 years.
Would not recommend
Our church has 3 of these between our 2 Nord pianos and all 3 of the 1"4" jacks have failed and needed to be replaced, and 2 have had the solder connections failed. For what they charge for these, they do not hold up at all. This is the simplest electrical circuit possible, you don't need to spend 3x the money for the Nord sticker.
Sturdy and dependable pedal
The new pedal is great. It is well constructed and holds it ground when used. There is nothing worse than a travelling pedal! lol. Thank you Sweetwater for getting this to me quickly in time for a gig.

Literally the same pedal as the OnStage KSP100
Very good: doesn't slip around too badly, has the right amount of resistance, solid metal construction, polarity switch.
However, be aware that this product is identical to the OnStage KSP100, except that one's $ and this one's $. You're paying for a red nameplate.

the Real thing
Good equipment, spring action is a little heavier that other brands, more like a real piano. 4star is because I suspect maybe that cool little rectangle of red plastic that says 'nord' on it cost me an extra $60 or so. That said, I've retired (broken) 2 similar different brand (made in China) sustain pedals in the last few months. This one says Made in Italy. 5star pending durability. ML
