To facilitate a quicker, more agile performance, Spector provided the NS Dimension High Performance with a multi-scale fingerboard. If you’ve never played one, you’ll be amazed at how quickly you adapt to the fret spacing and how speedily your hand glides from top to bottom. A Modern D neck profile and 16-inch radius further aid in player comfort. Packed with 24 jumbo nickel/silver frets, a locking bridge, and sealed die-cast tuners, this Spector has everything required by the modern-day bassist.
Darkglass preamp + EMG pickups = powerful modern tone
The Spector NS Dimension High Performance Bass boasts two humbucking EMG pickups that deliver a versatile tonal palette. EMG engineered the two coils and ceramic bar magnets of these EMG 40DC humbuckers to output powerful modern sound that isn’t shy about cutting through a mix. It’s all here, from clean highs to downright dirty lows. But the electronics of the NS Dimension High Performance bass have something unique under the surface: a Darkglass Electronics Tone Capsule. This Darkglass preamp respects the natural sound of the bass and expands the tonal possibilities of the EMGs. Tweak Bass, Lo-Mids, and Hi-Mids to conjure your optimal sound. The Tone Capsule can function with either one or two batteries in series for 9V or 18V operation.
