I bought 3 pairs recently to upgrade my old cables. This NP2X don't have any flaws, the look amazing, easy to weld, remember if you are using a cable or 6-7mm diameter, you need to cut the ring on the cable holder, you can verify that info in the Neutrik home page.

Last year I bought 2 connectors here in Sweetwater to build a Silent Plug Right Angle/NP2X cables, like the Mogami's or Pro Co's versions. Those cables works perfectly, they are my recording number 1 option. As I said, they are the best in the whole world.

original Neurtrik. Good connections, easy to solder, precision made. I have seen plugs from some sources that were not aligned and would jam in effects pedals. This jack is very high quality and therefore symmetrical, no side shifted end pin etc that I have seen sometimes with other brandless ones and even fake neutriks. I used it with Mogami cable from Sweetwater. Cable got made very nicely and easily to my preferred length 12.5ft. Good contact, no noise, no static, no extraneous sounds when the pin moves in a jack. Build appears very sturdy. While soldering, no parts burnt or melted. I do use solder paste and quick soldering, touch metal to heat, touch solder, allow solder to melt, remove solder, hold everything in place, let it cool down. Saw instructions for good soldering online/youtube. I solder parts just a few times a year and still was able to do this very nicely.
