Zack made it happen! I wanted to make a few improvements to my live setup. Coming from a NS2 this fits the requirements. The Stage does have some additional features that the Electro doesn't have, however if you're dominant needs are for piano and organ programs this KB will get it done. Plus, it's lighter than the Stage and I have a new keyboard and the Sweetwater 2 year warranty. Thanks Zack!

I love everything about these keys: functionality, transportability, looks and aesthetics, you name it.
It's the best solution I've found for myself as a gigging musician, it's portable but still very mighty!

All of the default presets are on point, something I haven't experienced playing other keyboards; every single sound it offers is super nice! But aside from that, it's super versatile in terms of adjustments, so even if you don't like the default sound - be it a lot, or a little - you can tweak it until it fully serves your purpose.

This is my first ever Nord purchase but I believe I might now be a fan for life!
If you are looking to get a new set of portable keys, and you have the budget for these guys, don't think about it any more. Get this Nord keyboard and it won't disappoint.

What a great keyboard -- until I upgraded my laptop and found I couldn't install the drivers without disabling memory protection on my laptop (which helps prevent malware attacks.)

Clavia/Nord has known about this for over two years but has done nothing about it or mentioned it in the installation instructions.

I'm a serious Nord user, having started with the Electro 2 "74" (it was a 73-key board from the factory but I added a bottom E key.) When I had to replace it, no question: latest Electro, and now with drawbars and samples! And om the 73 key model, the low key is an E! It's been fine for two years but now I can't use the software to manage the patch memory, load samples, or update the system software.

FIX THIS, CLAVIA! Act like your customers matter.

Coming from the Stage 2, this board is exactly what I needed to be able to have my settings for a set saved, but with the portability desired for rehearsals and smaller gig settings. If I had one gripe, it would be that I am more partial to the button style draw-bars than the physical drawbars, but that has more to do with muscle memory. Overall a perfect light board that would lend itself to any setting, but is especially conducive to having a powerful, customizable machine with exceptional portability.

I can't say enough good things about the product and dealing with Sweetwater. I grew up with original analog keyboard. The features on this are nothing short of incredible. I found it relatively easy to learn to operate. The company, Sweetwater, kept in constant contact and the transaction was totally smooth.

I first bought a YAMAHA YC-61 for its Organ Drawbars , but It didn't satisfy my ears for the Organ sounds I
So , I exchanged it with NORD 6D Electro . The Drawbar section is what had in my mind for Organ sounds .
Its other sounds are also very nice
The reason for not giving it a 5Star was because the Pitch Bend and Modulation wheels are MISSING !!!!

I really love this keyboard! The functionality and the ease of operating it is second to none. I've been a Yamaha guy, but now I'm a Nord guy!!

I would have bought the Stage 4 if I could have afforded it, but couldn't (yet!).

The Electro 6D has the great Nord sounds (love the organ) and I love the feel of the keyboard.

It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the Stage 4 but that's ok.

Nord Electro 6D 61 61-key Keyboard is outstanding! Excellent sounds, very user friendly interface, well thought out for gigging musicians and well made. Sounds great, feels great.

However, Nord really shortchanged players by not including wheels for pitch bend and modulation.
Not a deal breaker for me, but very disappointing.
Excellent instrument in every other regard.

As always the customer service provided by Sweetwater is the best in the business.

I have wanted to join the Nord family for a long time, and I love the size and portablility of 61-key pianos compared to 73 or 88 key versions. Add in the wonderful organ sounds (with physical drawbars!!) and the waterfall keys and this thing feels as close to a dedicated organ as I have found. The piano sounds are also incredible, and the ability to use string resonance really makes this electric copy sound like a real deal piano. I didn't realize how big of a difference that one feature would make.

It's incredibly well built, and true to Nord's reputation - it just works! The ability to save any sound as a dedicated patch is awesome, and the live moemory slots are extremely useful as well, gives me the best of both worlds when it comes to recalling sounds and then manipulating them throughout the course of a show.

I'm still becoming familiar with all the features of the Electro 6D, but I have loved everything so far.

First off, I would like to give a shout out to Mason Boisvert, my Sweetwater sales rep for his help and recommendations. I have had the keyboard for about 4 months now and can honestly say it is one of the best sounding keyboard out to date. I highly recommend the 6D 61 for it's light weight portability and great sounds.

I only bought it for the organs which of course, sound amazing but I had no idea when I bought it how much of a well rounded instrument it really is. I could easily see this being one of my main keyboards for studio and gigging. Super easy to use as well. Thanks to my Sweetwater engineer Paul Allen for turning me on to it. I was originally going to go with a Hammond but Paul recommend this over it and I'm really glad I went with the Nord.

This instrument works so well for me. I love the keybed, the sound and live controls.
This is the 1st time a keyboard worked this way to me in the way a guitar does when it's great.
I've had plenty of keys that sounded good but this is just another level for me.

This keyboard is absolutely amazing. All sounds are the best you can get without having to connect a software. The size is just perfect for flying and traveling. It can fit any overhead compartment on any plane. The main board lay out is so easy to use for live gigs. Effects are so real and it can change the sound so much. I love it.
Solid built. I love the extra new piano EQ options. It frees up your main EQ if you want to add it to synth or Organ. Best purchase I've done

best keyboard for leading worship and traveling for sure. it fits in the overhead compartment in any airplane. traveled all over the United States with this gear, never had issue with bringing it on board.

I've played a NORD before (my goto B3 board is a Hammond SK1) But the piano on the Hammond is a bit thin
... the Kurrzweil is a bit too heavy (and I'm just not a weighted action guy).... and this has a really decent Organ section AND good pianos.... It will be my "one board rig, and with the Hammond as a two board.
Just figuring this thing out.. so far, so good... only complaints The backup is talking a half hour *but thats through USB2, USB3 should go significantly faster. AND, the "transpose key" reverts back to 440 when you change a patch (You can transpose globally.... but its nice to do on the fly... one band plays 1/2 step down, one doesnt.
Its a nice light board (maybe a little lighter than the SK1 ... ) Looks like easy volume changing between layered piano/organ/synth (separate knobs) and (it appears) a fairly simple Librarian program (to be seen.. haven USED it yet)
