Great Guitar
Love this Guitar- Plugged or unplugged. love the Smooth neck - the Maple back and sides are Beautiful. Plugged in has such a crisp sound-many levels to choose from...I also have The nylon Silent Guitar from Yamaha which is like a piece of elegant furniture... Have always said for the money Yamaha makes the Best nylon string guitars Plus the customer service is the best
Sounds great Plugged and Unplugged.
Funny how I always wanted a Maple Nylon string guitar but ordered another model... it was out of stock---after changing my order and receiving this --- it was like DA - you always ready wanted to order this one.
In the end this is a beauty --something about the neck, I can't figure out- so smooth and the right width. Love it -play it every night - even though I have more expensive brand named guitars ..
Equal to guitars double the price
Before reading, note that I'm a classical/flamenco/jazz focused guitarist who dabbles in other genres.
Aside from the amazing sweetwater service and damage free shipping, I opened it and found it sounded literally exactly like the 800 to 1200 dollar Taylors I played... It was a smooth resonant warm roar that is very characteristic of those other Taylors. Build quality is superb, and once again, as flawless as those taylors. I like a brighter sound for classical and flamenco so simply replace the strings with savarez, but the stock strings are still great for most other types. Pleasantly surprised to find it had a nice tap plate, and strap attachments while maintaining the classical style kneck (which is what I was aiming for, I need that 52mm nut width). No fret buzz, perfect action. This is a steal for the price.
Sounds great plugged into my Fishman amp as well (strap is mine)
