Keep impressing me

By Leo on November 26, 2018

I"ve always been a N4 fanatic. Bought at least 10 of them in the last 8 years and each one I get impresses me In a different way. This N4 Authentic is awesome, well built in its minimum details. Extremely percursive and powerful. As all N4, it"s is not the most versatile guitar, but still a great instrument for most of the styles and IMO the best for rock.

Amazing guitar.

By Sweetwater Customer on July 8, 2017

I was hesitant to buy this guitar, but after owning it for over half a year I'm glad I did. Excellent quality, fast neck, unbelievably easy access to high frets, amazing sound on all of 3 way switch settings, stable bridge (which is a surprise because it is a Floyd Rose Original), very low action, flawless fretwork and stays in tune for a long time (I keep mine in the case when I don't use it). It is light weight which makes this guitar very comfortable to play with any strap. I played blues, rock and metal on it, all sounded incredible. Clean is also very good with a few tweaks.

Nuno N4 Is Dynomite!

I had Sweetwater do their recommended setup, it definitely paid off, cause the guitar feels and plays awesome. Second, the sound and tones this beast produces is second to none. Third, Sweetwater did an awesome job in helping get the guitar and getting delivered quickly.

My only gripe which isn't a huge problem is that it doesn't stay tuned more than a couple of songs.

I Love This Guitar

I only write reviews after I've played a guitar for a few months. I've now owned my N4 Authentic for a year and a half. It pays itself. It has the best feeling neck I've ever played. It has the most versatile sounding guitar I have. I could not be happier.

My only gripe is that it does not stay in tune. I mean by 22 year old Ibanez RG550 Ltd Serpent still stays in tune, but this thing just will not stay in tune for more than a couple of songs at a time.

Great playing Washburn

By Jim on July 20, 2020

I've owned the N4 Authentic for 3 months now. It is one of the best playing guitars I've ever owned. My only gripe is that its very hard to keep in tune for any length of time. Other then that I love everything about it.

Maybe a got the one lemon

By Keith Kessinger from Mystic, CT on October 29, 2015

Amazing range of tones from this pup configuration, the neck is super fast. The only problem was that after playing it for 3 months it kept fretting out, after taking it to my luthier to make adjustments we discovered that one of the frets was loose and too high. I had to have it re-fretted and glued to fix it. Kind of a bummer for a $3000 guitar. Before I had issues with it though it was the best electric I've ever played. I have a collection over 12 different guitars so I have a good marker to compare it to.
