Strymon MultiSwitch Extended Control for Timeline, BigSky and Mobius Reviews
The Strymon MultiSwitch 3-button foot controller is a powerful addition to any guitarist's Strymon-based pedalboard. The pedal interfaces with the TimeLine, BigSky, and Mobius pedals to offer new features unavailable without it. On the TimeLine, the MultiSwitch gives you access to multiple looping modes for further sonic experimentation. Additionally, preset and bank selection on all three pedal models becomes very fast and easy. And the MultiSwitch is built with the same dedication to construction and sound quality as the rest of Strymon's product line.

must have for the timeline
this switch is a must have for the Timeline. it gives you access to the looper controls.
Works like a charm
My "pedal board" is on a stand at waist level so I can tweak knobs easily. This remote allows me to record and trigger the Timeline looper by foot. Works perfectly.
Perfect switch
Great switch and so easy to use.
Rick in Idaho
Goes with my Timeline and Big Sky. Just got it for Christmas. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Thanks again to Forrest and the guys for making our musical dreams come true out in nowhere Idaho.
My Strymon MultiSwitch Extended Control PEDAL...
The Strymon MultiSwitch Extended Control pedal worked/works just as specified, and I love it...
Great Timeline Navigation On The Fly
I'm using this with the Timeline. For me it's a must because it really cuts down on time spent between songs reaching your next patch. Without it your left trying to hit multiple switches with your foot to change banks. It's built well but I could not give it five stars because of the price. It's a little steep for what it is but, with that being said, it does make getting around the Timeline much easier.
It makes the Mobious better...but..
I love the sounds from the Mobious. It replaced several dedicated modulation boxes and cut down the size and complexity of my pedalboard. But doing the two-button bank change tap dance and then to hit the correct preset button while trying to avoid hitting the data entry knob makes for a pretty clumsy music performance flow. Enter the Multiswitch. First, it is well-built and well constructed....as you would expect from Strymon. It does not require power. You are provided with a 24" TRS cable to connect to the Mobious. There are several options to configure the multiswitch in the Mobious. Bank change mode and preset mode. (There may be one other option.) I elected to do preset mode which basically the left and right Multiswitch button takes you up and down your preset list. The middle button engages or disengages the preset. This improves the flow and keeps you from hitting the data entry knob...but if you want to go from patch 1 bank 00 to patch 2 bank 04, you have to hit the right switch 10 times.
There's got to be a better way. I'll organize my patches to not have so many presets to have to bounce between and I'll hang on to this until I find a MIDI switcher that is not painful to haul around.
