By combining real-time controls and highly detailed sequencing, Morpheus lets you create exciting, elaborate, and rhythmic filter modulations you've never dreamed of. It's the best use of 18HP you could ask for.

This is a mind**** of a module
There's nothing like it out there. I was so happy to see Rossum bring this back. And yes, it's that good. I had a E-mu Morpheus in the day, and while it was capable of amazing sounds, it was also a pain in the A to use with all the menu diving. There's still some of that with this module, but it's worlds better. You find yourself just going in a time warp playing with this and then hours later wondering where all the time went. Also, you want to make sure that you're recording while you're playing around as you never know what surprises are going to come out and sometimes it's hard to replicate.
Incredible filter
First off, it feels great. Knobs are solid, and they have a slight resistance that feels great. Secondly is the filter itself. There are about 300 different filters in here, with different resonances and capabilities, so at first it really doesn't seem like a typical synth filter, but those types are in there. It has a really unique, smooth and powerful sound. Expensive? Perhaps...but high end filters like the Mankato approach the cost, and this is wayyyy more capable. It's amazing.
