Compact, Powerful & Solid Build Quality!
Numark nailed it with this all-in-one turntable setup! I owned the original Mixtrack Dj Controller since 2016 which was my workhorse for several years while djing bars & small venues. When I saw Numark released a standalone unit with a screen, software & streaming capability...I knew I had to pick one up! Obviously I have my own library, but having the ability to load a special song request for a song on the fly that I don't own yet has proven to be pivotal & convenient. The load/buffer time for a streamed song takes about 10-15 seconds. Some complain that's "Too Long", but c'mon...We have the ability to load a song that we don't own and reliably play it and scratch it within 15 seconds, and not having to purchase and restart/update your library mid-set is pretty awesome and convenient! On a average night of djing, I use this feature probably five times per night! It's definitely proven valuable. Build quality is also excellent, the unit isn't terribly heavy but it's definitely solid build construction. In regards to the Standalone battery life, it's about 5 or 6 hours! I'll do a three or four hour set, come home and then practice on it a few more hours the following day. It's not often I use the internal speakers, which I'm sure greatly contributes to my long battery life, but even so the speakers do not significantly contribute to battery consumption. Nuwmark did an awesome job on this unit, and whether you're a rookie or a pro, you will be satisfied with the performance of this product!
