Fender Player Plus Meteora HH Electric Guitar - Belair Blue Reviews
Looking to stand out from the crowd with a healthy dose of 21st-century style? Fender’s Player Plus Meteora HH is a modern take on the offset guitar, boasting a high-performance twist that’s sure to meet the needs of even the most demanding guitarists. While it might be a fresh new look, the Player Plus Meteora HH boasts the classic alder body/maple neck combo that Fender has favored since the 1950s. A smooth pau ferro fretboard sports a flat 12-inch radius and medium-jumbo frets, a pairing that Sweetwater guitarists love for its versatility and easy bending. Of course, with searing high-gain tones, the Fireball pickups live up to their name. However, if you’re looking for something a bit cleaner, activate the SC-1 coil-split switch for pristine single-coil tones. A rock-solid 2-point tremolo and locking tuners round out this Meteora, adding up to a guitar that’s flashy on the outside, but all business under the hood!

Surf-tastic
All the offset goodness of a Jaguar or Jazzmaster, without the headaches of a floating tremelo. The 12" radius neck is indeed super flat which is different for me, but nothing bends out even if I try. It's a bit beefier than a modern C strat neck. I rarely use the humbucker settings and had planned to swap out the pups as I mostly play surf but the single coil tap mode is more than good enough for me. So unless you have to have that extra little jangle from a Jaguar bridge, this thing rocks.
