I went to Sweetwater during GuitarFest for the purpose of meeting Phil X and demo'ing delay pedals. I played through some very good units before I went to the Wampler booth, but at the end of the day I couldn't find a more versatile pedal. This thing does everything I ask from a single delay and some things I would ask from a double delay setup. My music tastes are extremely varied, from worship music to country to djent. You can find all of the delays you could ask for with minimal tweaking in this pedal. PS...Phil X is an awesome guy!!

I'm surprised I don't see more of these! This delay is absolute gold! Super versatile and customizable. I picked this up for the Digi setting and because of the soft switching. I was tired of getting the "pop" every time I turned on my digital setting. Having the set subdivision selection was a huge bonus too. Two taps, I'm dialed in. The delays with flanger on the trails sound super rad as well! You will not regret picking up one of these. I also love that it doesn't honestly take up too any more board space than a dual overdrive. Well done, Wampler.

Man I love this delay. I connected a midi mouse and have been scrolling through 128 presets for a month.Put the Metaverse up against any other single delay,I put mine next to the Terraform.

I have been using Loeffler petals for about 22 years. Brian Takes really good care of his customers. I have owned the timeline and Eventide time factory and a few others. Right off the bat is the size of this pedal it will save you some Real estate. The Ease of use of the pedal is amazing compared to other pedals. It will store 8 delays .it has midi. Expreson pedal out. This pedal is the one!!!

I was building a new pedal board around my RJM PBC Mastermind and needed a multi-delay pedal. The PBC takes up some real estate on the board, so a compact pedal was a must. I took a chance on the Metaverse and I have been blown away! Great features like stereo ins and outs, accepts external tap tempo and program change commands with ease, AND it's MUCH more compact than it's Strymon or Eventide counterparts! However, the best part is the sound. Very warm and musical delays of all types! I've owned the previously mentioned multi-delays, and also the TC Electronic G-System and the Metaverse just sounds better, hands down. If there is any downside, it's the pedal's inability to accept CC commands from an external source. You must use an expression pedal plugged directly into the Metaverse for any control of parameters. However, this is a small trade-off for what you do get. PLUS, it's less expensive than the Strymon or Eventide pedals. It may not be perfect, but it's more than enough for me!
