12 Pack of Faux-tortoise, Medium, 0.73mm Martin Guitar Picks

If you're like most guitarists, you either own a Martin, want a Martin, or own a Martin and want another. And you always want a pick that brings out the best in your instrument. Picks have more affect on your tone than just about anything other than the instrument itself. So when it's time to get your hands on one, doesn't it make sense to play with a guitar pick from the same company? Grab one of these medium-gauge Martin Guitar Pick 12 packs and ensure your Martin sounds just like it's supposed to.

No Grip

By DJHolak from Texas

Well, since I own a Martin, I figured it would be nice to have a set of pics with their logo on them. I was disappointed as these pics do not have any "grip". IMO, they're too smooth.

Logo wears off

By Glenn from New Jersey
Music Background: Amateur

The picks seem to be pretty good, but I was disappointed that the logo and information on the picks wore off so quickly. I can still tell them apart from the other picks I have based on color, etc. and the fact that the other picks maintain their writing because it is etched. Martin should do the etching as well.

Martin Picks

By Ray from Hollywood SC
Music Background: playing over 60 years have played with pro's and amateurs and yes I have been paid for it a couple of times.

A person that would buy a guitar pick that is to be used and expect the logo to stay on has to be educated beyond their intellect. I have used many brands picks over the last 60 years and so far the Martin picks are the ones I like best. There is a different sound with Martin picks and they seem to be easier to hold on too. I wish I could find Martin thumb picks because good thumb picks are hard to get today. I have not tried the expensive picks that run $30 -$50 ea. it would be nice to compare them. Martin picks don't usually last me very long as I have an aggressive attack however they last as long as any other brand I have used and a lot longer that anything made in china. The 00-18 I've been playing since 1957 has a crisp sound and the pick seems to bring out the best in the low end as well as the high end. The D-28 I play is a 1969 and the Martin picks really do bring out the sound high's and low's. My wife ,of 50 years, doesn't play but she has a good ear and I use her as a sounding board even she will say she can tell the difference. I gave a 4 ½ star because I'm hopeful that there is a better pick out there but if there is I'm sure that Martin will made it.

Don’t waste your money

By Fred D. from Edmond, OK

I play a Martin D-41 and thought it would be nice to have some Martin logo picks. The logo wore off in less than an hour of playing. As picks go, it's nothing special, especially for $... As usual, Sweetwater was great. Not their fault. If your buying this pick for the logo, don't waste your money.
