Hohner Marine Band Crossover Harmonica - Key of D Reviews
The Hohner Marine Band Crossover is the perfect harp for players that find themselves playing rock, blues, jazz, soul, funk, or any combination of these styles. This modern marvel of airtight chambering and completely sealed bamboo comb design gives you a fast response and a throaty sound that won't fade, no matter how much you play. The Marine Band Crossover harmonica features compromise tuning, which makes it just as great for playing single notes as it does for getting those fully developed chord sounds. Whether you play pure acoustic or amp up your harp for that bluesy drive, this Hohner Marine Band Crossover harmonica will give you the sound you're looking for.

Excellent choice for the price! Now I just need to get my breathing back in playing form!!! This harmonica does a great Life's Railway to Heaven! Orange Blossom Special next! LOL!
Wonderful harp!
This is a great sounding harmonica. Easy to play, and has a very smooth, rich tone. Love it!
Crossover Harp
I have to say up front that I am not a Harp player and not a professional. That said I have a very good ear for tone and a good feel for value. I have owned and still own, other Harmonicas in several keys including some upper crust Lee Oscar harps. These are arguably Harps of great tone and are very playable including being very user friendly when it comes to bending notes. The Honer Marine Band Crossover is the easiest to play including bends, and I would say the best tone available to me of all the Harmonicas I have. I can sound very good playing this harp even with the mistakes I make, simply because of the great tone and the price is not prohibitive. Buy it and you will thank me for this review. That is all I have to say. Enjoy!
Just ok
I compare this harp to my special 20 harp in the key of D. I actually cannot hear any difference in the sound. If anything my special 20 is easier to play and Bend. I never had a problem drawing on the 7th hole but this one here has some issues...
