Great case
I don't know why these other reviewers are having problems with their case fitting their MX49, maybe there was a bad batch?
Mine fit's perfectly, it is snug like I want it to be but I had no problems whatsoever in getting my keys in the case.
It's a well made case with good zippers, I have enough room to put extra things like the power supply etc and it has decent padding to protect my instrument. For me it's a win and looks nice too. I am happy with the purchase.
Best Fit For My Arturia KeyLab
After seaching ever 49 key case and bag I found this was the best fit for my Arturia KeyLab Essential mk3. It's a little big, but the keyboard fits well and it's the best I could find. And the price is nice.

Yamaha mx49 case too small
When new the case is so tight it's "almost" impossible to get the keyboard in it. By the time I was able to get the keyboard in the case without a struggle the zipper had busted out. Save yourself the struggle; buy another brand.

MX49 Does Not Fit
This bag is too snug. I couldn't get the keyboard into the case. I worked with Tech Support, they explained that Yamaha had an issue with the manufacturer and sent me a bag that met the specs. Unfortunately, that one was identical to the first and the keyboard did not fit.

Yamaha keyboard MX49 bag
I was reluctant to purchase this, because I had seen reviews that complained about the bag being too snug.
I am glad I went ahead and bought it anyway, because, perhaps Yamaha changed the design? I could fit a 9 x 2.5 x 3 inch sustain pedal in the main body of the case, along with the power supply. The side pocket is not huge, but can fit a decently long cable.
I bought it for the back pack straps, and it works great
