I watched videos about the PreSonus Revelator and everything seemed great. For some reason, I can't get the software to work with my Zoom, and without the software the mic sounds thin and a little tinny. So, the Revelator mic only sounds good when fortified with software.
So, I ordered this MV7+ which seems to be a popular one with podcasters. The MIC sounds great, going in direct and it only gets better with the software which DOES play well with my Zoom. I got this package with the stand and am glad I did. It's perfect. If you want to get something even better, I can't argue with that, but if you are looking at this mic, I truly don't think you will cut any corners to buy it. It sounds a whole lot like an SM7B.

The VLOG has lifted on my audio
Got this mic for my daughter who does VLOGGING and various overdubs and she had difficulty getting a good audio sound. This mic helped tremendously. She found it easy to use and we listed to her before/after overdubs and there is a huge difference. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.
