a little disappointed
just received the mrc10 and out of the box I was amazed at the flawless finish
i had to set the action and change the strings..it had a tight feel to it
the pick up was a big down fall.first the adjustment wheel fell off and the qaulity of the pick up is cheaply made (supprised being a Fishman) the sound of the pickup was boxy...boomy. flat with very low output no matter how I adjusted it..
the MRC10 did sound decent when I put my warm audio mic on it..(total difference)...the tunners are decent..but the nut and saddle were that found on a cheaper guitar.
The one thing i liked is the shape and feel of the body style ..the glossy mirror finish
this guitar would favor best if it had a better qaulity pickup..such as a fishman Aura or simular..
Overall not a bad guitar..but im not seeing the $ dollar value...Marcin is a incredibly talented musician and Ibanez is been a very good product for me..however this guitar does not seem to have the signature value of that like something Steve Via has taken with his signature involvement...this will be a studio guitar with a good mic for me..hope this helps..thanks
