Well made lightweight bass case. Has the ability to fit different strat shaped basses with adjustable pads. Also has a nice neck pad that accommodates 4,5 and 6 string basses. I would recommend this case because of the quality and weight. Great sales staff, thanks Sean DeLeon.

Exactly what I needed for my Ibanez BTB7MS 7-string bass. It feels heavy duty. It's not what I would call lightweight and that is part of the reason I like it.

The case is designed for different types of basses, 4 different blocks so that your instrument does not slide inside the case. Bought this for my Ibanez GWB25 and wasn't sure if it would fit as this bass has two strap buttons on the bottom. Thanks to Mike Montero for his help with this purchase. This case was recommended by Ibanez for my EHB1005SMS ergonomic headless 5 string bass. The interior is very plush and has spacers to secure the instrument in place and it seems very well built.

The handle broke in 2 places less than 5 months after Sweetwater's 2-year warranty. I go to pretty great lengths to take care of my equipment, and this is definitely not an abuse situation. Very disappointed.

This is a nice case for your Ibanez bass. The construction is solid, the aesthetic is pleasing, and there are a lot of nice features such as a lock and many compartments for your accessories. What is nice about this case is that it can fit an array of various Ibanez bass models. I would certainly recommend this case if you're in the market for securing your bass guitar from Ibanez.

I found out an old bass I bought for a few bucks in the 1970's is now worth a lot of money, so I shopped hard to find a real case for it. Thanks to Sweetwater showing the dimensions inside the case, I was able to get the right one the first time to perfectly fit my Les Paul style bass. Not only that, the shipping box was absolutely trashed in shipping and the case came through without a scratch- a tribute to both how Sweetwater packs their products for shipping and how bombproof the case is. Through all this, the Sweetwater Thank You pack arrived intact too! Sweet.

My Yamaha bass fits perfectly in this case. Very happy with this purchase and thanks to Sweetwater for listing all the cases that a particular guitar or bass would fit in when you are shopping instruments. Nice feature.

This is a really great case. However, I expected it to be a bit smaller since it is specifically for Ibanez basses. I purchased it for a 2009 SR 700 which is slimmer than your typical Fender P or J bass. I assumed the case would be thinner and smaller. It is slightly longer and taller than the case for my Fender Jazz bass. Not a big deal, but just was expecting something different. The case is larger to be able to fit BTB and other larger Ibby bodied basses. The case comes with pieces to modify for fit depending on your bass. It also has a mod to fit 4 string or more. Overall it is a great case for the price. And the peeps at Sweetwater were great per usual.

I "love" this Ibanez Electric Guitar Case. This case looks "lovely", and with its included inserts, it will snugly fit all of your Ibanez basses. It also has great support for the neck of the bass. I always say, if you're going to buy an expensive instrument, you better buy an appropriate accommodating case. Also, the 0 percent payment plan is a keeper. Cheers!

I was looking for a hard case for a Sire M7 5-string bass. Most of the cases available were made for P-bass styles or were out of stock with long delivery times. I worked with my rep Jared and we found this Ibanez case. The Sire has a similar size and shape to the BTB basses. My first thought unpacking this was it is a well-constructed case with a good fit and finish. The case is well padded and the bass fits snugly in the cutout. The Sire fit in there well enough that the extra padding blocks provided probably weren't necessary. I put them in anyway. One of the concerns with hard cases is the riveted hardware. The handle on this case is attached with screws so it should hold up better. If I had one complaint it's the amount of storage in the case. There are many smaller cutouts in the padding that worked fine for tuners and such, but I did wind up stashing my cables in with the bass's body. It hasn't made its maiden voyage to a gig yet, but I have no doubt it'll work like a charm. This case is definitely worth the price.

Immediately after opening the box, I was surprised at just how light the case is in the hand!
The case itself weighs 13 pounds, and 22 with an 8 pound bass inside it. For me, this is more than manageable for a case this size.
The carry handle and weight distribution I'd say is perfect; hand feel is VERY comfortable.

Inside, an extremely soft grey velvet covers everything, no worries about any scratching; along with a zippered pouch and a few recesses for any odds and ends you may want to carry with it.
The foam inserts and versatility of instruments it can accommodate also add to how great this case is in my eyes.

The only thing to POSSIBLY complain about is the instructions and a small creaking sound when walking with the case in hand. Other than that, I think this case was a fantastic purchase!

This case is GREAT!!! It holds my Ibanez BTB 5-string absolutely perfect. My BTB 5-string bass fits in there like a dream; it's a perfectly snug fit. The case seems very well built and rugged. The latches are meaty and substantial; very high quality feel. There isn't a ton of storage in this case, but it's adequate for my needs. It comes with a nice quality zippered 'tool case' which fits perfectly in one of the compartments. I can't speak for how well other basses (Ibanez or otherwise) will fit in this case, but I can highly recommend this case for anyone with an Ibanez BTB 5-string!. (BTB basses are 35" scale, and the 5-string versions have 19mm string spacing and 1.85" nut width).
