3 in one straightedge
Definitely flat, I put it on my table saw, and it was perfect. I used it on two guitars to check the neck, one a Gibson scale and the other a Fender scale. It worked perfect for both. I will say that if you were to use this every day, you would want one that would stay upright on it's own. It's a bit hard to hold perfectly still while you check the necks. Someone like me with only 5 guitars will not use it daily, so it works fine. All the MusicNomad tools I have all work fine, and the quality is up there with Stew-Mac in my opinion.

Straightedge?
Compared with 3 different straight edges and it's not straight, has a bow in the middle on the Gibson side and a shorth tooth on the high end of the Fender side, straight edge side is bowed slightly as well, probably due to poor Quality Control and for this much inaccuracy the price is ridiculous. Really a poorly made (Chinese) tool IMHO!

Works really well. Takes any high or low frets out of the measurement process. Quality is great and it is straight unlike some cheaper straightedge out there. Well worth it.
