I bought this Bass a little over a year ago. Still learning new things about it every day and I've been playing for 60 years! I generally gig thru a Fender Rumble 500 and the tone this guitar gives me is incredible! Given the quality/price equation, I can't possibly recommend this more!
Outstanding. A dream bass at half the price.
I've been looking to upgrade from my starter bass for a few months. I loved the high-end Fender sound at my local store. I ended up getting a Sire P8. It's half the cost and gets 95% of the Fender tone, but with so much more available. The Sire pickups have less noise, the neck plays smoother, the preamp lets you customize the sound however it speaks to you. I love how the tone is consistent across all the strings, and all the way up the neck. Playing it just feels perfect, right out of the box. The gig bag with the P8 is also really well designed. I'm glad I tried the Sire bass. It's definitely worth the price and more. Highly recommend.
