My first ukelele

By Danica from Raleigh, NC on July 28, 2020 Music Background: none

I was so happy to have bought this instrument with Sweetwater. I found the company online and did not anticipate the level of customer service I received. It made me feel even better about my purchase. The instrument is beautiful and I'm looking forward to learning how to play.

Best Uke

By Leslie on May 14, 2018 Music Background: Guitar player for many years

Been wanting to learn to play the Ukulele for many years. Finally bought the Kala MK C. Perfect beginner instrument. Holds tunning nicely and is easy to play. Has a nice tone to it and if you are not holding the strings down correctly it is easy to fix. I would recommend this Ukulele to all beginners. I am sure I will be playing this for long time. Thank you Sweetwater for great service.

Great Instrument

By Sweetwater Customer on March 10, 2016

The best ukulele to start learning on. It stays in tune and is nice and bright. It's larger body makes it easily loud enough to sing with. Only a slight buzz at times because of the bridge.

Cute little instrument

By Sweetwater Customer on June 24, 2020 Music Background: I play piano, recorders, some guitar, and trombone. I am a composer of music for choir, instrumental chamber groups, and solo piano.

Although I play many musical instruments,I had not tried a ukelele before.
A friend sent me a video of herself singing and playing The Teddy Bears Picnic, and it was so touching that I ordered one for myself.

AS I said, it's a cute little thing. I didn't realize, however, how little resonance this instrument has. Of course, I'm still learning, and my fingertips hurt, so I'm not playing very hard. Perhaps there will be more resonance when I'm more proficient.

I got this foe my wife to learn on. Plays easy, great strings. She is very happy. Evergreen body is different but works fine and looks good.
