Awesome ukulele
Great quality, beautiful sounding.
Great baritone uke!
This is a lovely instrument. I'm not a guitar player, and this instrument is fun and easy for me. It doesn't require a lot of finger pressure or long reaches. Very ergonomic.
Ukuleles for school
I am co-founder and administrator for Big Water Creative Arts, a non-profit music education organization, and this is our second order of ukuleles for a Music Exploration Class in a northern Michigan school. Sweetwater is the BEST!!
Great uke
The baritone has a great finish. No sharp frets. Has a beautiful deep voice with good resonance. Very enjoyable to play. Kudos to Ashe D for all his help with all my orders!
Masala baritone ukuele
MY WIFE already plays the guitar but complained about her fingers hurting.Did my research and decided this would be better on her fingers.aShe absolutely loves this baritone ukuele.Strings are d g b e just like first 4 strings on guitar. This uke has a rich mellow sound. The best entry level for us.Can't go wrong with this buy.
Makala Baritone Ukulele
I love this ukulele, it really is like a small guitar. It has a great tone for a small instrument, very playable, attractive to look at, and good harmonics. And all for such a reasonable price!
Decent, but be careful
The instrument arrived packed extremely well. This is a beginner level baritone, so I was not expecting much. The fret work is rough on the edges, you may want to file them. Tuning pegs are decent, and it stays in tune once stretched properly. Action is decent, neck is straight. There is a truss rod, which at this price point I wasnt sure would be in there. One issue I did have was a crack in the fretboard near the sound hole. The sound is nice and warm, and projects decently. As something to plink around with and learn on or take camping (I took it to a music festival) it works beautifully, but the quality is really you get what you pay for. I will be filing the edges of the rough frets and oiling the fingerboard.
You were right
I’m having a lot of fun with my new ukulele you were right thought! I can’t get the buzz out of the high E string because of the reversed strings.
I’ll some day replace the nut and electrify it!
