I really wanted to like these and tried everything to make them work, but at the end of the day it was a good idea "in concept"... just failed to deliver. The biggest issue is that these rely on the being held in place by the tension rods against the hoop. Which means you can NOT tighten them down independently from tuning your drum. The final result is that they were too loose and floppy hanging on the tension rods. I even went as far as trying to use a nut and locking washer on the tension rod screw, but that introduces a whole host of other issues. Bottom line, I'll stick with my clip-on mic attachments for now. The only hope I have for ever using these is to mount a separate lug and rod on my drums dedicated to holding these in place... we'll see if that idea ever sees the light of day.
