Lightweight and Reliable
I use this cable 8 shows a week and it's never let me down. The connection is reliable and it's a nice light weight, so it doesn't pull on my in-ears.
Great extension cable
I use this 10' extension with my headphones connected to a stereo receiver. I have not had any problems. No static, crackling, or muffling. Good solid connections.Great cable for the price.
Great Extension Cable for Headphone Monitor
Using this extension cable with the "Behringer HPS3000 Studio Headphones" for practicing guitar in private. Contrary to the review(s) complaining of crackling/static noise, I've not experienced any such thing. Of course, this ***is*** an extension cable and there must be another cable involved that could also be causing the crackling/static noise. In any event, if the extension cable gets damaged it might cause the crackling/static noise but if you take reasonable care of the cable it will last a long time. The plugs are nicely molded to the cable for long life and strain relief. Great cable for the price-point!
Hosa MHE-310 - 10' 1/4" M TRS to 1/8" Mini F Extension Cable
I use this 10' extension with my Sure SE215 Ear Monitors. While playing guitar and moving around, I have not had any problems such as static or crackling due to loose connections. I was very impressed. Good solid connections.
Good, but not great
Actually, the sound does muffle and crack, and the problem is on the TRS jack side. If that happens, you just simply need to rotate the jack a little and the problem will go away. It's because the base of the TRS is made of plastic, so if it's uneven (this is just a design problem) the sound will crack/muffle. If the base is metal (neutrik connectors), it will be really flat.
The best is obviously buying a TRS and 3.5mm connectors and soldering yourself.
Not a great connection
Your will lose one of the channels of your signal randomly because there is not a great connection. Get what you pay for.
Poor quality
This cable came to me with only the right channel working. Took me several hours of troubleshooting the rest of my setup before I thought to check this cable. Maybe I just got a bad one, but this might be one of those cases where you get what you pay for - the higher quality cable I replaced this with works just fine. Sweetwater was great with the return - so it didn't cost me anything but time, but my time was worth way more than the price difference between this cable and a better quality one.
DO NOT BUY
These do not work correctly. The sound is muffled and cracks...useless!
