Hand-built at GearFest just for Sweetwater!
Using vintage bucket brigade technology, the Moog MF-104MSD analog delay pedal is one of the warmest delay processors ever built. An update of Moog's coveted MF-104, this limited edition reissue delivers its familiar classic sound, along with several requested upgrades. Plug into the MF-104MSD, and be awestruck by the rich, organic textures you can produce by combining up to 1200ms of delay with your choice of six LFO wave shapes. When we demoed the MF-104MSD here at Sweetwater, we had a blast creating everything from subtle shimmers to cascading echos to cacophonies of dissonant feedback. What kinds of sounds will you devise with the Moog MF-104MSD analog delay pedal?
Limited special release features 1200ms of delay
Although the Moog MF-104M typically caps at 800ms, this limited edition "Super Delay" version lets you utilize up to 1200ms of rich, creamy analog delay! Only 40 of these limited edition units are being made — call up your Sweetwater Sales Engineer and grab yours!
Spillover mod provides enhanced control over decay
The most popular modification to the classic MF-104, Spillover Mode allows you to bypass the MF104MSD's delay without killing existing echoes. By utilizing Spillover Mode, you can choose whether your delays decay naturally or cut out abruptly when you turn the effect off. Imagine creating a disorienting barrage of echoes, then playing a dry sound while the echoes slowly fade into oblivion. Thanks to the Spillover Mod, you can!
Tap tempo for control over delay time or LFO
Guitarists and keyboardists have come to expect a tap tempo feature on delay effects, and the Moog MF-104MSD analog delay doesn't disappoint. The really cool thing is that tap tempo can be assigned to either delay time or to the LFO section — that means you can set up a lot of short repeats with a long, slow LFO; half-note repeats with eighth-note modulations; or any other creative combination of delay time and modulation speed.
MIDI functionality for hands-free control
With full MIDI functionality and CV control over all primary functions, the Moog MF-104MSD is perfect for real-time tweaking. Run your guitar signal through the MF-104MSD, and let your keyboardist twist and turn your tone via MIDI control. Or use it in your DJ rig as a primo-sounding analog delay that you can control and automate via your host sequencer. The MF-104MSD sounds fantastic on its own as a standard delay effect, but the fun really begins when you start "playing" the effect using external controllers.
Feedback loop allows for external processing
If the delay effect is cool, then adding effects to your delay effect is even cooler! The Moog MF-104MSD lets you insert external effects pedals or processors into the delayed signal path for even more creative potential. Add an overdrive pedal to give your delay some grit, or pass the delays through a sweeping phaser for a wonderfully watery sound. Your dry guitar tone won't be affected by the extra effects at all, making your unique sonic combination even more distinct.
