Monster Prolink Bass Angled to Straight Instrument Cable - 12 Feet Reviews
Great bass tone ranges from fat and round to big and punchy, but whatever your preference is, Monster Bass Instrument Cables will deliver the best possible sound for your bass rig. Monster's patented Time Correct windings reject interference, and their MicroFiber dielectric protects your bass's transients and natural warmth. Duraflex protective jackets keep stress from ruining the solder joints, all but eliminating the risk of a bad cable ruining your night, and carbon-infused polymer shielding minimizes handling noise. Take it from your Sweetwater Sales Engineers - your sound is only as good as your weakest cable. That's why many of the bass players here wouldn't gig without Monster Bass Instrument Cables.

Best Bass guitar cable ever !!
This Monster Bass cable is hands down the best I ever use & the only one I use. Players may overlook the importance of this cable but like the old saying - a piece of equipment is only as good as its weakest link. Use them, worth the money ! Been playing over 50 years ( I'm 71) take my advice.
Monster Cable Replacement
I am replacing a 20+ year old Monster Cable with one just like it. I have used Monster Cables for as long as they have been available and have never been disappointed by their performance. I went to a local winery where a young, very nervous performer was doing their first gig. They were having trouble with the sound of their guitar and starting to panic a little. I lent them one of my Monster Cables. It really made a difference.
Monster M Bass2-12A-12'' Bass Istrument Cable
Great quality cable .
Great cable!
I was actually shocked at the improvement in tone on my bass. Cable is very sturdy.
Strong signal chord
Just what I was looking for, even better than
Sounds Great!
I was a little skeptical that another brand of cable would make a big difference in sound. But as soon as I plugged in the Monster Bass cable I heard an immediate increase in clarity, tone, and separation of notes in fast passages. It was the same effect with whatever electric bass I happened to choose that day. Worth the price!
It's a MONSTER cable...need I say more?
Most luxurious, rugged and sonically dynamic cable you'll ever purchase for your bass...plain and simple... Purchased this one for my second bass..have another that I've owned for about 8 years that gets used REGULARLY and it's still like new... Will probably never need to exercise the lifetime warranty these things come with, but then again, that's probably why they even offer one in the first place. LOL
Greatest Cable yet.
I have 2 of these, except one is straight-straight because the right angle wasn't available anywhere. As soon as I saw the right angle become available, I ordered one.
I have a PBASS and a '74 vintage Jazz Bass. One cable for each case.
I've used many cables over the years, but these MONSTER CABLES are absolutely the BEST.
Monster Bass Guitar Cable
You can never go wrong buying quality product. I have 3 Monster Cables, some several years old. I just needed a shorter one for some stages
Ture quality time tested
Been using these bass cables for about 5 years and have never let me down over gig after gig. Plus their supple and don't kink up . Highly recommended.
Cable Review
a VERY well made cable, that is resistant to tangling. Sound quality is excellent, and I'd highly recommend this cable.
a hard working cable
My second one of these in two years!,,To me that's well made!. The other one I had just went dead. Thanks to my Sweetwater salesman Mark for getting me hooked up. The next cable will be the one we discussed over the phone!
As expected
I bought this to replace a Fender "bass" instrument cable. This is well made and shielded to reduce any noise. The angled side is perfect for those whose instrument jack is positioned at edge of the body.
Ling time user
You cannot quibble about the quality, I've had this cable for over 10 years, my first one lasted a couple of years and failed, but sent it back to monster, they replaced it no questions asked. My only two complaints, the cable itself is super stiff and awkward to maneuver around with and the size of the straight jack will just barely, with force, fit into a Ibanez SR style body .
I also have a monster 100 cable that is super quality and a more supple cable, it is my go to cable.
Monster dependability
Extremely durable and dependable, a must have...
Nice Keyboard Wire
A good solid wire and good when you need an end to be flat. Good for synthesizers.
monster bass cable
I bought one of these. it had a problem I sent it back and they replaced it with another that did not work.
I tried sending that one back and they asked for a receipt. I told them I had no receipt as it was a replacement for a damaged cable. They have yet to come back to me.After 3 attempts I gave up.Buy Mogami. Much better cable and customer service is excellent. Monster cable Always have issues after years of stupidity I wised up and never again will I buy a Monster cable.
Monster M Bass2-12A Cable
I bought this cable on 6/23/16. It sounded great! I tried to use it today (10/20/16) and it had given up the ghost. I have never had a cable go bad this quick! I was really surprised! Especially from a cable costing this much. My advice, buy a different brand. I have another cable that I paid about the same as this one and it still works after 8 years. The brand name is even worn off so I can't tell what brand it is.
Maybe a 'fluke', but very disappointed
I'm trying to be objective as I can, so I'll say that maybe this was just a 'fluke', but I'm quite disappointed in the money I spent on this cable. In particular, I have a buddy that's very knowledgeable in guitars in general and he recommended getting either Monster or Mogami cables, so I went with this after seeing some of cables listed.... Unfortunately, it hasn't even been two months since I purchased this bass guitar cable and, as of today, it literally just malfunctioned.. It seems as though it came loose on its own (where the 'cord' goes into plastic base/metal connectors) - you can tell that it's not really secured in there very well, it's just slipped into the tightly-fitted hole at the bottom of the base. It would be more understandable if this had been under rigorous use (since it can very easily be pulled out from the connector base), but I was only using this in my small 15 watt amp for home practice. The only time this cord really was moved at all was when I was either picking up or setting down the bass guitar on the stand, which sits right next to the amp. To be specific, it was the "(straight)" connector end of the cable (which I was using as the bass guitar connection), and not the "(angled" connector, though it could've happened to that one also. Having spent basically $50, I'm pretty disappointed it couldn't even make it 2 months, especially since I don't take this guitar or cable with me anymore, but it just stays in my bedroom. I had even been playing it earlier today and it was fine, but then just picked it up again late this evening and it had happened... at first I wasn't even sure if it had been my headphone jack (since it's late I play with headphones on), but unfortunately I couldn't even get it to work properly after trying to correct hte problem once I discovered it..... Maybe it's a fluke, but even if I feel compelled to immediately drop another $50 an a simple practice bass guitar cable, I may avoid Monster out of principle.
This cable is not flexable enough. It's awkward
While I'm sure that this is a very good quality cable, it's cumbersome, awkward and just seems to get in the way! My mistake.
