Great product
These new audix mics are a huge improvement over what we had. Thanks to Paul for suggesting these!!
Exactly what I was looking for...
Bought one be used to mic a chorus concert. Looks great on stage, can barely see it; sounds great too. Used some Rode NT5 on either side of it to cover the entire group. The clarity and detail was much better than the "darker" NT5s. I am going to buy another MB5050; I think using just two of these would be perfect.
Second Microboom
I already have one of this and since my choir has grown in number, I decided to purchase another one.
The package was delivered on time and in excellent condition.
My group already tried it and it sounded great! Will not hesitate to recommend this product.
Very pleased with Audix mb5050 mics
Mics are doing the job required and very pleased with overall performance.
Small choir
We have a small choir at our church, and we have some that cannot attend the services so we record the services for them. Each Christmas and Easter we do special music and could not get get a good recording of the choir voices. This new new mic is great, I have heard from the recording listeners that this year was a great improvement in sound quality, and it only took minutes to set up.
Church choir
Not having many in the congregation or choir who are trained with audio equipment, we are still trying to get the right adjustments for sound. I plan to ask one of the youth ministers who is more knowledgeable for help. After installing it, I'm not sure we needed a 50" micro boom because the stand we use has enough adjustments that a shorter microphone would work. Customer service is great.
