Sonically identical to the M81 standard capsule, the M81-WH wireless capsule gives you the same condenser-like performance with negligible proximity effect and excellent feedback rejection. The M81 Universal Dynamic delivers the same articulate midrange, but its high end is less pronounced for a flatter overall frequency response. The M81-WH uses the same dynamic capsule, head grille, and output transformer; and is compatible with a selection of wireless transmitters.

Don't take the singers word for it. The first two times I used this capsule the rest of the band noticed the difference in clarity right away. Then we went downstairs from our lockout and others in the studio mentioned how clear the vocals were who didn't even know I changed it or what I was using.
I am an up-close singer in a hard rock band. Zero issues being on top of it. Not even a hint of a ring in our small, loud room.
To be honest, I haven't even touched the console since switching to this as I wanted to just use what was there and I don't think I am going to tweak it at all. Love it.
