Consider this footswitch a necessity for live performances! It works great. The left switch turns the mic/guitar cables on/off, so you can remove cable from your guitar without that popping sound. The right switch allows reverb to play when off or disengaged as normal position. It allows choruses, flanger, & echo settings to play when on or engaged - nice for chorus or bridge sections of a song to add variety to your sound.

My last one had a very delicate cord and wires broke many times over a few years. I purchased this one to replace the old one. I hope improvements have been made.. time will tell

The quality is very good it does exactly what it was designed to do. Nice addition to the Fishman Artist amp.

A must have for your Fishman amp, to me the app is just not complete without it.

We use this to footswitch for the fantastic Fishman SA330x Performance Audio System, which has been reliable for 2.5 years of regular gigging. Unfortunately, the footswitch has failed twice in that timespan. The first time was the TRS connector breaking apart and the second time was the mute switch failing internally, which then made the mute button on the PA not work with the footswitch connected. Disappointing and inconvenient. Not sure what to replace this with, since the footswitch really was massively helpful when it worked correctly.

I bought one of these so I could control effects without having to poke on the amp manually. It worked briefly. I tried to rewire it and gave up. When it did work it was useful to fully mute while tuning or whatever. It also allowed muting the effects B but not A. I have an old pedal from another amp that works. The Fishman Loudbox is the berries, the pedal is now junk in a box.

About 4 months in the wire shorted. They should make one that allows you to use an instrument cable as the cord.

This footswitch has a metal cover. The chord is exceptionally long allowing sufficient length for multiple placement options. The buttons are robust and work with every click.

THE MUTE BUTTON - When it's on, the amp has no sound - nata. Turning the amp off and back on does not change the footswitch's mute button position. If the footswitch was mutted when your turned the amp off, it is still mutted when you turn it back on, unless the footswitch mute button gets pushed while the amp was off.

THE EFFECTS BUTTON - On my Fishman Loudbox's (Performer & Artist):
ON AMP - EFFECTS "A" & "B" ON - Both come on when effects footswitch on.
ON AMP - EFFECT "A" ONLY ON - Only Effect A comes on when effects footswitch on.
ON AMP - EFFECT "B" ONLY ON - Only Effect B comes on when effects footswitch on.
ON AMP - EFFECTS "A" & "B" OFF - No effects come on when effects footswitch on.

Made in China- so usual below quality expectations. The mute switch has to be pushed twice at times and seems to be defective- very aggravating-

I've been using this foot switch since January for at least twice a week (sometimes more) on my Loubox artist on live gigs. It's super convenient for the nice built-in effects on the amp and to "turn off" the sound while on breaks. After 5 months of use, the switch just stopped working. I never dropped it and only used it as intended. It is a nice little gadget but shouldn't break down after such a short time.

If you own a Fishman Loudbox you'll want this footswitch. The amp has the input on back specifically for this switch. The kill switch is super convenient - Im always plugging something new in or unplugging something and muting everything with my foot is nice - also for silent pausing during songs/performances.

This foot switch has a manufacturer defect.. I've had 3 of these. The kind people at sweet water replaced it for me 3 times without question. After being frustrated by the emailing for the replacement i took one apart.
The problem with this switch is that it works or about 4 months and then it cuts in and out. The root cause is the grommet used where the cord goes into the box itself. The grommet is so tight that it pinches the wire and after a period of time (around 4 months of twice per week use) the wire fails right at the grommet area. If you carefully remove the grommet you will find the crimp in the wire. The solution that i would propose is too put a 1/4 inch input jack in the switch housing and plug a 1/4 in guitar cable into the switch and then the other end in the amp. This switch has increased my vocabulary of expletives. The switch box is solid and simple and should work well. However, the cable on my unit was pure junk and prone to shorts often rendering the unit ineffective at critical moments. After cutting the cable down to eliminate shorts and make reconnections at the switch box end, the cable eventually became about 6 feet long. When called, Fishman was no help. Finally, I rewired the unit with a female connection on the box so that a double male end cable can be used. So far, so good. If the cable goes bad, I'll simple replace it without the need for a soldier iron. I have to believe the original cable on my switch was defective. I've never seen anything like it. Now, it works and it is cool to switch the effects off and on easily with a foot switch. The Artist Amp is the berries.

What can I say, perfect choice for the amp. But at the price of loudbox artist. Would be nice to see this included. considering all things. Or atleast if not at best a 20-30% coupon for download when you register the amp. Hello fishman. still making the $$. Always seems when we purchase a really good item. they always hit you with...oh..this or that is OPTIONAL. go figure. still beats stopping to switch effects and such. you can keep playing. :)

Unfortunately, the foot switch is an integral part to amps capability, and amp is amazing. But the foot switch doesn't allow you to just mute the effects, so when you talk in between songs, you can't have a nice dry sound. It's rather strange to not have that feature. The description says effects muting, but it's only on channel B, at which point the effects on A are still are active on B too. Why?

Seems well built and nice. I would have given it 5 stars if the cable was not permanently attached. It seems like cables are always the first thing to go bad, so I would rather the cable was not built in, but other than that, it is a good footswitch.

Having a foot switch really give better options on playing... worth the expense...

I use this device in our Church and find it useful when I want B Channel effect on certain pieces. The channel mute is great in between pieces and when connecting and disconnecting my guitar. There is no noise through the speakers. I've rated it a 4 because the buttons click too loudly when pressed. i have to be careful to use the switch only when there is enough other noise so the congregation can't hear it.

Great and indispensible accessory for the Fishman Loudbox Artist. Channnel mute is great for onstage tuning. I'm running the tuner in the FX loop. Nice to have the second switch to turn the 2nd effect on or off.

Great Footswitch, works and has great cable length. Easy to read LED's and its nice to have the extra on off for the effects.
